barliman, the above is true if you substitute measles with chickenpox.

Aha, shows how litle attention I was paying when Mrs B was unfortunate enough to get it last winter....I'd better go and apologise.

sad  I hope you are feeling better very soon Gildor...with no lasting effects.  Chamomile is a nice, calming herb and any left over herb will make a nice tea.

Re: The Taproom

thankfully the color theme I chose for MMP is dark green and It does not generate too much pain it seems things are going a BIT better (i used some balm for eyes containing a lot of vitamin A) it seems the red in my eyes is decreasing a bit... I may see the doctor tomorrow...
Aside for my eyes, all other symptoms from the measles seem now gone... at last.... only the eyes.... I cannot do lot of computers and indeed I can't read nor paing... that's quite frustrating... besides I cannot go back to work if my eyes are not better ... they are my main "tools"....

as for the troll well I sent one to cameosis and the pictures you saw are from me.... I used to have a figurine of each of the Everquest ever released figurines for the original promo (now I also have an iksar thanks to cameosis)
I don't know where to find these anymore... I have only seen firiona, or the small nagafen dragon sold separatly in small blisters, but never seen any of the others (al'kabor mage, irontoe dwarf, or grobb troll) I can't even be certain there are not others aside from those 5 ones...

Re: The Taproom

so after my visit to the ophtalmologist... it is a keratitis of an herpes kind (somehow connected to the measles) I got a speacial treatment, it should be over in 5 or 6 days without further problems but it indeed does require special treatment it is not a simple conjunctivitis...

sigh... hope it will soon be totally over....never been that "ill" in more than ten years...

Well, now I only have to put drops in his eyes instead of having to fuss over him all day long.
Of course I did have to spend a long time taking care of him as I started working on his birthday cake.

Happy Birthday Gildor ! smile

I'm surprised that Elves acknowledge the passage of time, Master Gildor, but hope you had a good day regardless!
