Am am always impressed by the expression of our beloved Troy Shady!
They are soo full with love, abandon and passion.
I really like it.
"Very nice" also very short. Helps to save time. And you need time for painting miniatures . . .

I am glad to see a bit of your work in the gallery Master Ent, this one is very inspirational for me.

mind that there's not only stone in the vault ... there also is an old root of a tree which goes deeper than the Balrog can imagine ... though he's contemplating about the layer of that glittering Mithril ...

Well, Master Theobald, this is really overfantastic. Chapeau for this work.
You placed the rocks very well, also the big stones. And the root is really a brilliant idea.
Also the regular colour scheme is very fascinating.
I think, this is exactly THE diorama for this figure! And this is the standard every other must compete . . .
I see you cut the "horns" of the Balrog. I like that. He looks a bit more dynamic. (I hope that wasn´t an accident . . )

Thank you, Master Turambar, as I very much appreciate a statement from a perfect diorama-builder and skilled painter ... accident it was first, when I dropped the figure ... then I thought it would be better having him without those antlers ...

I had the luck to see this in real! It looks very good indeed and the use of the materials is absolutely !
Though I don´t like those "things" -unfortunately- it is a very good idea to add them inside this piece, Master Tree!
I suppose it is worth waiting for!

Ahem, thank you, gentlemen, though ... being complimented for my very poor skills - if skill is a word that could be used here - by our Master Turambar is a bit more than just exaggeration.
I worked over that piece again last night ... Travelling Elrond gave me some assistance. Though he was complaining all the time there was one thing in which he was right ... "Theo", he said, "we haven't got them maggots yet." See, Elves are wise. So I didn't contradict and immediately ordered a second set. I told him that when there are four instead of two they might be able to travel a bit faster ... err, to be honest, he just frowned instead of giving a comment on my perfect logic ... such are Elves ...
