Wow, that is really a fine surprise.
I feel very much honoured about this.
I think all of the entries has got ist own qualities and great little details and it was a pleasure being part of this competition.
Although there is a bit disappointment left about the missing Mistress Wendy and Master elroi.
So- fellows I hope you are lucky enough with me to have a party at Barli´s place . . . See you there

Congratulations, Master Turambar ... now you can put on that dancing Elven Lady on the pedestal and provide a pic. - Marvellous work.
You shall send the final result to Chris definitely.

Sorry for bringing this up, but I have seen the pictures and all I can say is, congratulations to all!
Yves Boussin:
I like that marbled effect on the floor, maybe if I painted that I would lower the blue brightness
I also like very much the table colours, they remind me of some kind of marquetry. Saruman is nice too with a great white gamma.
David
The idea of the globe was great! and the map on it is even greater! The colors of the table remind me of some Tolkien paintings of the houses of the elves blazonry...
Nicolai
From yours, I prefer most of all Galadriel, and Saruman, also the maps on the table seem great! Elrond's best is great too but for me is a bit too ornate.
Cristoph
What else could I say, congratulations! Nice work on the atmosphere and the "lightness" of the scene. Cirdan and Elrond are my favorite, fantastic details on the rim of Cirdan's cloak. The "leather" waistcoats of them both seem spectacular to me.
Nino
I think Gandalf is the best of the painting but i don't like that yellow on Galadriel neither the green on Elrond, as it seems a bit unclean (not on every picture!)
I like the maps also, the colors on them are nice, as they seem antique.

Wouah!! I've just see these pictures : wonderful!!!!! Congratulations everyone, very good jobs, Each of them is different but they are quite very beautiful. I agree with comments of Maenas who speak english better than me......
Congratulations Mister Turambar, I'm agree with the votes : I prefere your realization
P.S.: As a result, I wanted to put my own realization, but when I see what you made, I am ashamed of my result.

So...If you want. But consider that the scene is not ended. I'm not very happy of the result, but I preferred to left it at the moment, until the inspiration returns. While waiting for I began the scene "Salute 07", Glorfindel vs Nazgul (It's my son who chose it), I take some photos later....
Sorry for the bad quality but I haven't a dentist camera.....

Hey ! this is a very good painting job Mistress sevlag.
I like your colors very much (except the "bright" texture as I always prefer mate colors).
Characters are natural, simplicity for base and table makes me feel like this should be in a quiet room.

I didn't know that there was a competition. I painted especially for my pleasure, but if you also like it even more pleases me
I shall try to take some photos of my other figurines to show you the other realizations and my workshop also.
I finished painting Salute 07 but I again have to work on the base.
