Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Micheal has shown bluntness in the past when replying to suggestions and I'm not sure that he always takes into account that English is not every members first language even if the posting member does have a good grasp of the language some wording may be written slightly different.

Have you noticed that newsletters seem to be from 'Lars' of late, or have I missed something?

Congrtulations by the way Milo, a worthy winner and an unusual suggestion wink

Ouch, sorry .... rhuoommm ... that well-filled bowl was meant for our Elf ... not for that Ent ... so, please, Master Gildor, just drink a bit of that bowl and then try to dream about the next Christmas figure ... huoommm ... it'll calm you down a bit, I'm sure ... huooooooommmhom ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

i assure you mails are send on Lars behalf BUT not by Lars... easy to understand it is written in the newsletter itself that it is not Lars smile

I suppose it's the way Mithril uses when I said we needed communication from Lars.... I supposed they understood "posting on his behalf"......... *sigh*

There's none as dim as them that wants to be, as we say here in Bree.

Huoommmm ... that's what I tried to point out, Master Gildor ... huom ...

as for you, Master Thingol, about mispelling and all those matters concerned with that ... huom ... I can only say that this so far has never caused serious misunderstandings here in the Pony ... huommm ... none at all ... rhuoomm ... and I'm a regular here since before the day  good old Mithrandir left these premises some time ago ... rhuoommm ....

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Only sometmes, Master Tree? As you should know by now, I live by such maxims and metaphors. Incidentally, aren't you supposed to have gone away by now - or is this a classic example of an Ent not being hasty?

I don't think he wants to go. He's been talking about going for at least a fortnight, but has yet to step outside the Pony.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

huoommm ... I just didn't want to go, because I did not want to miss any celebration here, Master Barliman ... rhuomm ... that's why I was still present ... huoommm ... and seriously, it isn't always easy to pack my Ent-bags thoroughly, as it takes some time ... rhuoommm ... anyway, as you suggested, I should be better off soon ... not to let autumn catch me ... rhuommm ... bye then ... huoommm ...
