No drawing, just painting big_smile - I have been trying a technique of oil painting by the late Bob Ross (for when I give up Mithrils due to the high prices lol) who used a wet-on-wet technique that is ideally suited to landscapes.

On screen it looks so simple and easy, in practice it will need a lot of practice, but as Bob Ross said, 'We don't make mistakes, we just have happy accidents', this is a happy accident as I decided to include an Ent to add a bit of interest. If I get the technique to work well I have Tolkien's world to paint wink.

Anyhow, thank you for the kind comments, I shall keep on practicing.

I shall have to think of a good place to hang it. Perhaps I should put it in the Gents, then Master Theobald might think it's a mirror....

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

On another matter entirely, I'm off up to the distant isles of the north. Be back in a couple of weeks.

I'd leave the Tree in charge if he was around, but in his absence it's a toss-up between Bob's cat and Nob. No, I'm only kidding - they're both woolly-footed layabouts, but Bob's cat has the edge when it comes to intelligence. So long as you feed him promptly and keep out of reach of his claws everything will be fine. But he will need some help when it comes to opening barrels.

Be good.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Congratulations Master Troy.... finally Mauhur ! He was suggested at least 10 times. Now we have an idea of less to suggest. I do not like orcs but winning of Mauhur will open the door to other good ideas. There is no more so much Orcs, which could be suggested as a characters or prominent figures. Besides the ordinary population of orcs scum...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Congratulation Master Troy ! I voted for Mauhur this round and I think it's good to have several orcs each year.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

I have some ideas for future suggestions and they do not include orcs or trolls. One of them I have mentioned here a few months ago and it was recieved very well!
