I don't know why you fellows always sem to think it's fine to pour your own drinks just because you can't hear me around - but I'm always about the place somewhere.

Let´s have some drinks, MAster Barliman, for these kindful gentlemen.
On my bartap. I will pay for this round.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

I have one question gentlemen... has any of you received the first five figurines from HD2?

in his posts, Michael mentionned the 2nd part would not be ready for christmas but that assumes the first part was already ready... I wish I could have more information about those... actually I still have NOT received MS571 nor MS572 . VERY frustrating.... the package may have been lost totally , first time it happens

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

.... I did not pay still for first five figures of HD2. I sent mail to Joan that PA charge my card only when all 10 figures come out. Not before. And than she will send me all range. I made and confirmed pre-order month ago. About MS571 & 572... my figures are already in my shelf, painted and in good company ...

It is possible that you lost the package. Unfortunately, this year's twice happened to me that somebody took the packet from my mailbox. Unfortunately in one case was last group of dwarves sent by CT. After that I always request a registered mail when I expect valuable shipments..... A little more expensive cost, but it is certainly safer.I still live in a shit-organized state sad

But beautiful.... smile

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoooommmm ... Well, as for the two latest MS-releases I received them quite some time ago. So there seems to be nothing wrong with that autoshipment-thing, meseems ... rhuoomm ... so far I have not received those first five HD2-villains .. huom ...
but as far as I can recall they were meant to be shipped before Christmas this year ... huomm ... which still is quite some time until then, I think ... rhuoommm ... the other five villains of the HD2 will see the light early next year, as Master O'Brien said in that non-papery-newsletter ... rhuomhuom ... that's all I know of ... maybe those first HD2-guys decided to join the crossing together with the Christmas-figure ... huom ... who knows ...

Huoommm ... I feel sorry to read about what you told us, Master Thingol ... quite a loss for you that means ... huom ... I wish I could help ... rhuom

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

No HD2 for me either, and my MS order is 14 days old now. I recieved a email from Joan that in the USA we can expect 15 to 30 days for orders to arrive. Seems a bit longer than in the past years. Perhaps they are short on staff.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoommm ... I just sorted out some things ... huom ... maybe it might be of interest for some of you around here ... huom ... after I asked, Master O'Brian just told me that once again there will be different options for the new Christmas-figure-thing ... hom ... the regular release will of course again have that antique finish ... but for a short while soon (i.e. about a week or so) there will also be the possibility to order the figures either in a primed or a "raw" version ... rhuoommm ... after that they will only be available aniqued ... so, for those lazy lads among us who want to save some time to strip the antiqued figures because they intend to paint them, this might be an idea worth being contemplated, meseems ... rhuommhuommmmm ... I think Master O'Brien will soon inform about the time for that offer ... rhuoomm ... in 2007 it was restricted to the first 50 orders (primed version) and in 2010 it was the same ("raw" version, as there was no primed version) ... rhuomm ... I guess that the price of course will be the same ... huom ... this might also be a hint for those few "hard-core" collectors ... hooooommmmm

Make sure you emphasis the fact that you want an unprimed version (if applicable), I asked for this version last time, but got the antiqued version. That said, it goes nicely with the other ones that I have so not a major issue, but my request was overlooked nonetheless, and I am sure I asked early enough (only Thranduil has been painted).

Huoommm ... I hope he'll feel better soon ... rhuommm ... I've never been interested in that facy-booky-thing and do take no part in that ... rhuoomm ... yesterday Mistress Joan told me that with my order everything is fine and there will be no problem ... huomm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoommm ... Master Gildor, there's no need indeed to ask the Company, as everything about the new Christmas-figure is settled by now ... rhuoomm ... so, stay calm ... as there's a week still to ask for the "primed" or "raw" versions ... huom ... after that there will only be "antiques" .... rhuoommm ...
you might remember that me, the tree, always tried to keep up, or even insisted on those Christmas-things being produced regularly ... rhuoommm ... and I'm sure it was worth it ... rhuoommm ... just there's the lack of 2005 ... rhuomm ... though I tried then ... rhuoommm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

well as I collect all my Christmas in antique, I will keep to this smile Only three exceptions ... Chr1990, Chr1992 and Chr1993 which are grey primed... all others are antique finished

(that's quite a relief, these are the only figurines I can afford to display in my glasscase directly out of the blister smile  à
