Doing that would require that they put their brains in gear, and sometimes I have my doubts about whether they actually have one. Or at least, one with sufficient capacity.

Does anyone know what's happened to this month's Fellowship first round voting? It should have started yesterday, but there's still no sign of anything happening.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

I think Michael is back from holidays today... and he should put all things in order by tomorrow... well I hope so.. I intend to post some questions on official board to have update on several release schedules... they need to inform us about HD2 part1 release,  part2 release, Sauron release, and Beregond vignette release... and also about the advancement of the the MS sculpting since october...

it has not been very "active" those last months... except for phaeton-design smile

Hope you have a successful day, Master Milo. I've put a shot of something extra in your tea in case it helps.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

I'll offer a drink to everybody today! a special event occured :

my wife tried to make my little baby paint (2years and a half) with "hand paint but he refused.... He prefered taking a pencil, with some little water pot and paint like his father... and he actually managed it, lifting the pencil perfectly and painting good shapes on a paper and putting the pencil in the colored water and carrying on! my wife took a little movie of this...

not yet 3 years old and already painting!!

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoommm ... well, it's me ... homrhuom ... after having extended my duty of  being-silent-and-not-moving-with-all-that-stuff-hanging-at-me-branches for another week ... rhuoomm ... that was a request by Master Erchamion, as you might well remember, which I was immediately willing to accept ... huoommm ... oouchh ... sorry, stratching .... oooohhh ... errr ...huom ...
yes, Master Barliman, there was just one sentence as I felt obliged to pass on my greetings and wishes to all them regulars around here ... huoomm ... yes, one sentence within two weeks .... rhuoomhuom? ... ahh, I see, that's not what you would like to call  silence ... rhuoomm ... but I extended my silence for a week on behalf of Master Erchamion asking me to do that .... rhuoommm ... doesn't count, you say? ... huoommm ... errr ... well ... right you are, of course ... huoomm ... though, I've learned .... huom ... yes, I did .... huomm ... just imagine standing for two weeks next to the hearth without anyone around asking you if you would like a drop of water ... rhuoomm ... imagine? ... then, the nights ... gruoommm ... lights out in the Pony and outside all them raindrops falling ... huoomm ... no leak in the roof to let them through to me .... alas ... huom .. but what angers me most about last year's Christmas is that no one around worried or took note whenever Nob's cat felt free to play with my glitter balls ... rhuoomm ... even then I did not move or say a word .... huoommm ... so ... am I dismissed now? ... huoom ?

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

You're a good tree all round, Master Ent. Yes, I think you can roam around the building and say as much as you like again. Nob is tidying away the last of the broken glitter balls even as we speak.

As for Bob's cat (can anyone think of a good name for him? I've never heard that he has one), just be grateful that he didn't use you as a scratching post....Or did he?

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoommm ... he did, Master Barliman, indeed he did ... huoommm ... though I didn't mention ... rhuo°00mmhûommm ... I just didn't want to go into details about what that cat did with its scatchy-things ... huoomm ... a name? ... you're serious, Master Barliman if that creature even deserves such confidence ... huomm ... though ... err, to be honest ... huomm ... sometimes he purred a bit when I carefully scratched him with one of my roots ... huomm ... after lights out in The Pony ... huomrhuom ... a name, you asked for ... hom ... no idea, better ask Bob what he calls him ... huoommm ...
Huom ... back to business ... weather's good at the moment to give them trodden-worn-out-and-smelly wargskins a good deal of water from above ... huoommm ... if the windy-thing keeps on, they might even dry before Wetnessday ... huoom ... so, I'm in the backyard trying to do my job here, cleaning wargskins .... rhuoommm ... that all there is ... homm ... thank you ...hom

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Give them a good thrashing, Master Tree, they need it.

Yes, we need a name for Bob's cat. Can anyone come up with a name for him that's Tolkien-orientated? Well, I say him, but of course it could be a her - though I don't intend to risk any of my fingers finding out. Those claws are not for decoration, believe me (well, they're only for Christams Tree decorations, but that's another matter).

At the moment I'm thinking of calling him/her/it Gollum, on account of apparently liking to eat anything he/she/it can find in the garden. Small things out of holes or wood-piles seem to be particularly desirable.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

No ... and ... no ... rhuomm ... of course I gave them sodden wragskinny-things a very good brushing .. but as for giving that *d...d* cat a name, I would rather call her ... err ... or better him ... Seth, as he 's the one not being clearly identified by now ... rhuomm ... Sachmet wouldn't match as she was a lioness, as far as I can remember .... huomm ... so I'm not of any help here as I gave my word to that cat not to reveil its reall name ... hooommm ... such are cats ... huomm

I guess we could call it Sauron, after JRRT's oroiginal bizarre concept of the Dark Loird being a giant cat...
