Rhuuooommmm ... though we forgot to discuss the matter thoroughly before it started .... houmom .. as far as I can recall I just raised a bowl ... rhuoommm ... with that I did not intend to start a - what someone called - celebration .... huuoommm ... whatever it might be it seems to be fun ....
Alas, I didn't find a forest, Master Caster, nor did it find me tree ... rhuoommm ... but nevertheless I'm sure that good old Master Fangorn will appreciate your welcome very much ... rhuoommmboom ....

And to pay the tab afterwards... (the words 'little chance...' spring unbidden to my mind even as I write this).
The Fellowship voting situation isn't getting much clearer, though it's good to see that Boromir has gained a minimal edge on his competitors; but Thomas the Troll is still way ahead.

I was hoping on Eomer, but it seems almost everyone loves those trolls! Oh well, maybe next time.
On another note, does anyone know what M-series is after the Easterlings? Just curious.
Any rumors Master Tree?

Well well, it seems, that the GF member so not love Elves either or not so much than they love Trolls an men. Sad for Wendy an me and our "band of brothers".

Yes, the time of the Elves is over in the 3rd Age, but still there are some who resist the Dark Powers!

stupid trolls!
I for shure prefer the elves. Pretty, smart and clean. If you ever met eighter of them (troll or elf) you understand what I mean.
Offline
If we get the Trolls out of the way now, it leaves the way clear for the Elves, lol. Come what may, I have an Elvish suggestion ready for the next round of suggestions.
Offline
Aye, carn' those elves! If they were ever footy teams, Elrond's Elves would smash Tom's Trolls any day of the week! Don't worry, we can't vote for trolls forever, and there's still round 2 .
Offline
Since a single troll sitting in the goal-mouth would completely block it, I don't see how the Elves could score...
And in the superior game they play on the other side of the sundering sea, can you imagine a Troll offensive line? "Are u eyeballin' me, Elfie?" Splat. I think the Elves would need a lot of reserves.

Mae govannen, my friends,
seems that there are more Elf-friends out there. I cannot remember, that we had many Elves in the GF other than Cirdan and Gil-Galad, 2 Sindarin Elves and some of those smiths.
I wished, we could have on of those great figures C.T. has designed in the past, like the range "Elvenking's hall" or "Lothlorien". These were the Elves influencing my vision of those people mostly. The newer versions of the Elves did not satisfy me much, so there is some hope?

It seems to be another M-series that will leave prior to the easterlings.
Michael discussed in the forum ....

Do you remember where in the forum that Michael talked about that? Thanks for responding to my question erchamion.

Well. Master Marshal, Eomer seems likely to feature in round two of the voting after all, along with Boromir and Big Tom. Tom's lead didn't grow any more after his initial surge, so perhaps his support isn't as widespread as might have first appeared. But who knows what way things will turn when the scattered votes from round one are redistributed in the last charge for the finishing line?
As regards your enquiry about M ranges, I don't remember another M range being due before the Easterlings, but then I don't remember a lot of things these days... so I shall also be interested to hear what this reference by Michael was about (I haven't got time to search for it myself at the moment).

A voice from a dark corner says "Is it rumours you want, Master Marshal? Well, in my travels last year between Bree and Rivendell, I heard rumours of several strange beings. But they were always describe as from a distance. I myself caught a glimps or two; but could not make them out clearly. Alas, if only I had the far-sight of the elves."

Well we had Thranduil, we also had his standard bearer, Celebrimbor (fighting Annatar), the noldo smith who made Anduril, and as you mentionned Gil-Galad at Gorgoroth and Cirdan at the Grey Havens. that makes three Sindar, and three Noldor.

"I have issues with another mounted heavy release so quickly after the Knights of Dol Amroth. I would perfer to have a intermediate release that would be less complex to produce. The Knights were delayed due to the complexity of the poses causing difficulty with our spin moulds.
We might therefore release a different type of release (without horses) first then we can go back to the Easterlings. "
That's Micheals post from today regarding the Easterlings, but I suppose on the bright side it means that there will be something else to look forward to.
Looking at Micheal's wording does he have some say over what is released I wonder? No problem, just curious, I always thought it was Chris and Lars.

It's also pretty clear from Michael's phraseology that the proposed 'different type of release (without horses)' is at this moment very hypothetical, which rather suggests that any such range is as yet incomplete, if it has been begun at all.
Is it possible that the strangers the Man in the Dark saw from a distance were some of the stray elements of unreleased ranges known to have been worked on over the years but never released ('Wilderland', for instance)? It will be interesting to learn in due course.
I know of a range that The Man is thinking of doing soon, but not necessarily 'next', but it's far too early to start a rumour about it, and things may change. It certainly doesn't include any horses.

Huuuooommmm .... well then, though I'm not very sure and do not exactly recall some hint by a certain sculptor exactly at the moment .... huom ... it dates back about ayear or so ago .... rhuoommhom ... yes about a year ago that was .... rhuooomm ..... and that might nicely fit for one or two series before an appearance of those many-horses Easterlings meseems ... hom

You're a big tease, Barli! Well, I don't know how big you are (other than bigger than Nob), but you're definitely a tease. Either way, we'll have to await with bated breath for what comes next. Speaking of which, it looks like the first round winner is struggling a bit in the final - a bit like our 100 metre mens swimmer at the Olympics, Eamon Sullivan, who broke the world record (which still stands) in the semi-final, but came second in the medal race.

You shouldn't use the s--mm--g word in here, Master Axe, or you'll upset my smaller customers, who have an aversion to w---r, as you'll recall. As for the teasing, the problem is that The Man tells some of us various things at various times (and not always the same things or at the same time!) but then asks us not to tell anyone. Now that's what I call teasing.

Huooommmmrhuommmm ... I can recall now ... huoom ... it was May last year ... hom ... "I have just completed some Rhudaur figures and have not yet started on the next batch." ... huom ... someone said that long ago .... hom

Indeed.
Put out the Rhudaur and the Wilderland figures and ye all can have my left kidney.
And my firstborn.*
Possibly even my secondborn.**
* Free babysitting and child rearing by Mithril? Sounds good.
** Little buggers would take up useful painting time.

Sorry Barli, please tell your smaller customers that no offence was meant . And that definitely sounds like The Man is a tease and a half (in a good way - anticipation is half the fun)!

Well, it has been a while since their was a commotion in here! Just sit back in one of those corners and take it all in. I am just sitting at the end of the bar listening.
I would also like another scrumpy for myself as well.

Commotions are good for trade - debating is thirsty work.
I see that Eomer is still well ahead in the poll at the moment (shame about Eomer, Master Marshal, but I'm sure he'll get another chance).
By the way, has anyone received their Dol Amroth dudes yet?
