Most excellent work, as ever there is something 'magical' about the colour choice and application of all these new works wink . The Pony will be a masterpiece when finally populated, but a word of warning - Barli might not like patrons sitting on the bar! lol

I like to use lot of colours and tones in my miniatures, and in this case i think it will give more emphasis to them, in the environment of the tavern (wich is less colorful). Maybe with more miniatures painted on the scene, the result will be not so "agressive".

Anyway, you´re right, maybe his skin should be a bit more pale (but Milo´s scrumpy theory is very good also smile )

No you're not! - anyway, I've always objected to that rendition of my appearance. Doesn't look anything like me, and I've told The Man so. Still, it allows me to remain anonymous. I coiuld walk down your street any time I please, and none of you would think of asking me for a drink or a pie.

And as i´m very close to get M120, i´ll replace the cardplayer seated on the bar by the lute player. And the sexy girl will be next to the seated cardplayers. And barliman will be scolding to the pair of drunken and singing men M121

Knowing what a fantastic paint job would have been under the 'glop' you have my sympathy smile . What varnish was this?

Certainly it's not one I ever want to use, so the name would be useful! But I always use Testors Dullcote anyway.

The varnish was Mr super clear, in spray:

I have been using it for several years without problems, with great results. I think that was a momentary problem with the spray.

And Master Thingol, I think that the size is not the real problem to face this miniatures, but the way we interprete the light of the minisature and the volumes of the sculpture
