Re: THE TAPROOM 2

If you agree Barliman, I may change my suggestion and you put Gandalf with fireworks yourself ? (I even would vote for it !)

No, I'm perfectly happy for you to suggest it - that way it stands a chance of winning! (I've frequently found that as soon as someone else makes a suggestion I've previously made, it wins!)

Farewell for a while, Master Tree. Hug one for me while you're there. I'll get Bob's cat to keep your damp, earthy spot by the bar damp and earthy until you return.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Hello there, hello folks!!

Now that holidays are almost here for me, I can breathe a little bit and dedicate more time to you all happy fellows! at last!
These have been very black weeks for me since middle may... but I am about to be back and update everything that is late!

Lately I just found out that Orcs managed to pass through the gates of the official boards and made spam announcements about Kitchens?! ... I have no power to delete them, and it seems Michael is away at the moment, so I did what I could, I just locked the discussions so there are no more posts on those very odd threads.

Also, I see you ave been quite active of late, and I hope I will be able to share some news with you too! but everything in good time. Nothing new from Phaeton nor Mithril at the very moment, but I have to update many aspects of MMP site... and during my holidays I hope I will be able to PAIIIINNNTT a lot!

Master Butterburr, let me pay all the bills for the moment, now.. this is settled smile and give me a pint of good cider if you would be so kind smile

As a side note, for all french members, I invite you to read my other thread about "the Hobbit" retranslation and post your comments, as I may/will relay any of your concerns, if you want, to the translator/writer himself smile

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

"Happyood Mithriling"? Are you sure you haven't been at the cider already?

But welcome back indeed to your alternative "home". Your views and profound knowledge of all things Miuthril have been missed.

The kitchen builders also attempted to invade the Pony. I deleted the one piece of spam I discovered (spam wasn't on the menu that day), which was as much as I could do, and happily the problem hasn't recurred. I think.....

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

there will always be trolls and orcs on Middle-earth... no matter if Sauron is there or not.... but we Free-People are there to get rid of them. Hopefully they won't gather together in big bands to attack our free cities so I do not worry too much smile

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Hello again, my friends! I was on beach holydays, but I'm back. Please a fresh pint of ale for everybody (well, a fresh cider for our beloved attic warden would be ok, too)

He's in the attic, so I'll have his drink instead. Do you realise you're the first visitor I've seen in here for ten days? I was just thinking about converting the place into a Macdonalds....

Well, Maese Innkeeper, I think that most of us are on holydays nowadays... I hope in a few days you have the inn plenty full.

Congrats, Master Ori. I hope you get great pleasure from them. That Master Milo is a useful fellow, isn't he? I shall have to think of giving him his own seat at the bar (a tall ome, of course).

Congratulation Ori.
I remember my first Mithril exchanges was done by paper letter from Mithril/Tolkien Fanzines long before Internet.

Elves may be very old hmm
