Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Original banner was clothed and tied under his jacket. So on the figure is not visible smile This is a false flag, which only serves to deceive the enemy...

.... I'm going to cut and make a big banner....

er ... Master Ddaines, why not lengthen the staff to the ground until it meets Halbard's right boot on the inside ... huom ... which means he could hold and sway a banner of an appropriate size (in terms of physics) ... Huûooommm ... I just was bored this afternoon, then it's when I take some figures from my cabinets and try to think ... hoommm ... er ... by the by ... does anyone around here know why Caliban is collecting firewood ... huomm ... alas, thank you for reading anyway ... houommm ...

Yes, I agree, I wasn't looking at the lower half smile, but if the pennant were to be converted into a banner then the staff would need to be longer to give some counter-balance.

I think I will try and replace this with a new banner more in keeping with the evidence of the other figures.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huuoommmm ... that's exactly what I wanted to say, Master Ddaines .... rhuoomm ... best would be two extensions of the staff, I think, one right down to the ground (helping to cope with the weight), and one other extension at the top to allow more space for a larger banner to be fixed at the staff .... huomrhûom ...

And also a conversion for right arm which could hold the extension down to the ground. roll

Huoommm .... well, yes, Master Milo ... indeed ... rhuom mm ... (left arm, by the way) ... hooommm ... but as I tried to point out before ... huomm ... it's not my intention to cause trouble or criticize ... rhu^^0m ... it's just because of  the place I'm in, called the Pony, by the way, .... er ... trying to keep it a bit alive after having spent quite an afternoon dusting around in these premises, which has become quite a job, you know ... huoomm ... I even found Nob, but let him sleep ... huoommm ... you know dusting accordingly doesn't produce much noise ....  huoommm ... I hope you few regulars and rare guest won't mind .... hom ... I could also keep me busy outside in the backyard to give them wargskins a good brush again ... huoommm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Hi Master Ent,
Please can I have a special drink to bring me some joy.
I had alone a car crash this morning. Rain on the road, 180 spin round...ended in the road ditch.

Click to close

Still, I was lucky enough that no tree stopped the car.
I am not hurt and the car can move. Only some car body repair needed and 1 door to be changed .

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Apologies for not being around for a while - I have some other issues demanding my attention, and also I somehow became unsuscribed from this topic, which is a bit of a mystery (I suspect Nob was responsible...). But anyway, I've now re-subscribed, so will hopefully be able to catch up in due course, though the "real life" issues will take a while yet to resolve.

I see that in the meantime the Tree has been maintaining the Pony's enviable reputation for serving liquid refreshment promptly - and has even been paid for some of them. Extraordinary! That never happens when it's me.

Hi Master Barliman, glad to see you back.
Regarding payment, on my side, there is a simple reason:
You are far less impressive than our Master Tree when he shakes his leaves. RhuoMMMM lol

Why no scrumpy? It makes hairs grow on your chest, and kills 99% of all known household bacteria.

It's good stuff, but it can't perform miracles, alas.

Oh, and happy birthday from me too, Master Turambar!
