A useful site for diorama builders - maybe!

Whilst troll(ing big_smile) through the internet I came across this little gem of a site. Mainly scenery from the movie, but with some expanded original designs....

A great site, Master David, which I admire for a long time. I wonder, that there are some "things" disappeared . . .
Must have a look inside the archive of my mac . . . and this archive is large . . . cool

I wish I had a fraction of the talent it must need to make these. But why are they being made - who uses them, and for what?

Looks like scenery for wargaming. You may notice some hex tiles on the ground...

I do well remember the pics Master Hsf62 provided here once again. That's why I criticized about missing buildings. - By the way I also had a chance once to have a very close look at the huge model of Minas Tirith by GW they presented when the third part of the films was released. Sorry to mention that company here, but that model also was very impressive, both in size and painting, reveiling the top-skill of the ones who made it. Unfortunately I didn't take any pics of that one.
