Re: H A R A D R I M

Master Turambar, of course, you are always welcome to correct me, as I cannot be omniscient. But I was a bit right guessing that those water-colours were 'Schmincke' ... best quality ever.
As for your latest pic, there are two things I would like to mention.
First, I am very glad that you decided to publish two pages of your sketchbook. Yes, I wasn't the only one to ask you to do that favour.
But second, I have to witness that the poor quality of the picture you provided here just offers a marginal idea about the way you combine scripts, sketches and colour-testings, etc. -  I'm afraid it once again has to do with the resolution of the pic.

Anaway, thank you very much, Master Turambar, thank you very much indeed ... smile

Magnificent once again, and to repeat the comments the third photo with the yellowish tinge gives it real atmosphere - the look of a hot sun maybe just rising or setting as a cool desert breeze comes in from the Eastor West depending on the time of day.

Would love to see a 'real' book produced of all your work AND sketch book ideas as both are an inspiration to others big_smile

What a great work. I like it a lot.
And with your little introduction,. you help to explain the atmosphere and what you were trying exactly to represent.
This forum has some very good artists.

Thank you!

Maybe the magic was the most powerful force in the world. But that was long ago.
The dragons are gone, the giants are dead and the children of the woods are forgotten.

Re: H A R A D R I M

Turambar,
An excellent job as ever. I have just joined this worthy forum, though I confess to having only some 20 or so Mithril Rohirrim amongst my extensive LOTR collections. Still this forum has always been an inspiration to me and Mithril were amongst the very first LOTR figures I collected back in the day.
I cannot claim the serpent motif, since like you all I have been inspired by Tolkein artists and historical designs over the years,
but I am nevertheless flattered...

Ahhhhhhhh !!!!
Welcome here Master of the shield design!!!!
Very nice that you didnĀ“t damned that and giving me very nice words instead.
20 mithril minis are better than having none! You have to show them.
(I think I have seen those Rohirrim somewhere . . . )

Nice to have you here! smile

Re: H A R A D R I M

This work is absolutely amazing !wink

I didn't see all the topics of the Gallery, and I discover them one by one.
The flags are impressive and, not only!, the background is beautiful.
I love this work.

Congrats Master Turambar!
