Cheers to you too Master shadyt!

Early, Master Shadyt? It's lunchtime here in Bree, and Eru alone knows what sort of time it is in Upside-down-land where Master Caster is. He's either up very very early or very very late.

Or both possibly? - I suppose it depends on which end of the clock you're coming from.

Returning to matters more germane to Mithril, what does anyone think of the Baldor MS figure in the newsletter? I may not have been paying attention at the time it was suggested, but why is he on his back rather than face down as described in The Two Towers, "his finger-bones ... still clawing at the cracks" of the (missing!) door before him? Shame. It's not like The Man to stray from JRRT's descriptions.

huoomm ... it's busy around here at the moment ... huomm ... so, cheers to all of you ... huoomm ... sorry, so far I didn't have the time for a closer look at that tiny pic of that Baldor-metal-thing ... rhuoomm ... I just witnessed, that all in all there's been some figures being finished in time before Yuletide, meseems ... huom ... have to look how many coiny-things I've left for all of them ... rhuom ... so I'm glad, that there is no new Phaeton-Design-vignette, too ... huommm

That Baldor metal thing. . .
As you pointed out very well Master Barliman, I had not been paying attention at the time it was suggested as well.
And I was wondering as well concerning his "pose". Simply wrong I would say.
Whoever suggested this figure would be disappointed meseems. With the right pose it would be a fantastic, tragically character.
Nevertheless I like this part out of the Man´s designing-chamber.
Eventhough you don´ t see nothing of this 22,00 Euro Christmas figure I have ordered it.
And still ask myself, how it is possible to put a 22.00 Euro Figure on the market with only ONE, smallest picture . . .
The Motor for ordering were the new Hobbit videos with its impressions of Dale- quiete amazing I have to confess, and ideas for a future diorama . . .

"Congratulations, Master Ent"--says a voice out of the corner (yes, hazy with smoke) of the Pony. It is nice to see that you are making suggestions that Master Tubb will create for us. Let's drink to your success!
Two bowls of fine fresh water please, Master Barli, (whispers aside, "sneak a little scotch into mine"

I'm afraid the added ingredient will have to be from the Emerald Isle, a far superior form of strong intoxicant to that insipid stuff from North of the Border. Sláinte!

huoommm ... thank you very much, Master Twrich ... rhuoomm ... maybe there could also be a slight surprise along with my latest winning-suggestion ... rhuoomm ... we'll see ... there's a lot of time until it will be released next year ... huoommm ...
but .... what is it that makes your water smell so bad? ... strange that is .... rhuoorhûomm ...

Ah, the Christams Tree! Just stand still, Master T, and I'll go and get the decorations (and a ladder for Nob)....

For someone who doesn't believe in being hasty, that was a pretty swift exit. About 60kph, I'd say.

Is there anyone out here? No? Maybe it's too late .....
I was looking for Master Tree to try to explain the issue of my dagger. Truth it isn´t something I really worry because I only limit myself to lock travelers in my barrow. I don´t usually take the dagger ........ I can cut myself .......
why of the dagger down you ask? Well, when you asked the question I acknowledge that I quickly thought "I was wrong", perhaps a mistake from the years that I had when I started my M276 (20 years ago). Very far is that date, perhaps a rookie mistake ...... But NO, this figure is correctly fitted.
If you look carefully, Master Tree, you can see that the finger-thumb of my hand is properly up (if we consider "finger-thumb" that I have .....). If we rotate the wrist to put the dagger up, the finger-thumb would be down, forcing much the position, I think.
So, I thought at the time (and still think) that the right posture is the photo: the position of Wight "stabbing", if you understand me

huoommm ... me, the tree, it is ... huoumm ... and I do understand you well, Master Erchamion. So from your logical description of the pose of the dagger, I have to admit that you're right. - I've always had problems how to fix the dagger to the Dunlending priestress (M10). .... huoom ... anyway, Master Erchamion, what about to have a nice bowl of clear-clean-honey-coloured-watery liquid with me ... huomm ... I would rather enjoy having that drink with you than having been chased by a deer barkeep who's after me for me playing a Christmas tree, if you might guess, what I mean ... rhuoô^0mmm ... thank you + cheers .... huoomm ... sorry, I must be off before some barkeep enters these very much liked premises ... rhuoomm ...

Well the Tree knows that the barkeep doesn't get up in the middle of the night, so he's safe coming in at that time. But wait till he comes in during daytime - then I'll get him. The tinsel will be wrapped round him so fast he won't have time to say "Happy Yuletide", let alone "I'd like a bowl of clear clean....mmmffffffff!".

huoommm ... hush ... he's not here yet .... doesn't watch nor care ... hmmm ... hush ... so, what about another Christmas-riddle ? ... just a thought, of course ... my last one was in 09 or so, wasn't it? ... rhuûûûom ... any interest in here about such another riddle-thing? ... hooomm? ... er, by the buy, does anyone around here know why barkeeps sleep long? ... huom?
