Re: THE TAPROOM 2

completing the Prince August range of CHaracters is not little feat!  congrats! I still have quite a lot to find myself!!
One day I'll manage to find them sad but that's hard...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

I simply wonder where you are looking for or find all those rarities... indeed I am not as invested into finding Prince August than I was for Mithril but well, even mithril is easier to find than Prince August mini... even if Mithril is more expensive and more sought after than PA...
Maybe one day my collection will be as complete as yours smile and maybe if you find any of my missing ones I hope you'll tell me smile
I admit I am expecially interested in CH24A and CH33

Most important for me is to have Wiki gallery achieved.
For miniatures, PAM Friends & Foes is my next challenge. I miss around 1/3... I was missing every F&F last year roll
I also search Grenadier 9803 as 2 weeks ago, I found 9801 & 9802 in perfect original boxes.cool

Huoommm ... Master Milo, I'm not sure which figure you're referring to in your latest entry ... huoomm ... though I have to admit that I don't know much about the "Prince August Character" range ... huoomm ... though the name you mentioned rings a bell ... hooommm ... but that was mentioned in a mail by someone else .... huommm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Hi Master Ent, Bearfos is CH30, which inspired PCH10. One of the most difficult to find and quite expensive to buy.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huuooommm ... thank you Master Milo as for informing me about Bearfos .. huoomm ... yes, I do remember the email now in which a Man explained that to me ... rhuoommm ... though seriously, I never was interested in those old PAC figures at all, as they might just have met an interest for collectors of such figures ... huoommm ... it's not me ... rhuoomm ... as for me I really value some better and more improved figures, lately provided by Phaeton-Design ... huoommm ... I simply kept to collect Mithrils, so, as I pointed out before, I don't know much about all that PAC-things .... huoommm ...
nevertheless, congratulations, Master Milo, for having achieved another piece to complete a collection .... hooooommmm .... and also let me thank you here in public for taking so much effort and time to support our Master Gildor in building up that new gallery ... huoommm ... wise decision that was and very much appreciated .... rhuoommmm ... hûom .

Yes, of course. Thank you very much both Gildor like Milo for their effort and dedication. smile

Meanwhile, Master Milo, your riddle is very difficult. I will say M70 Elf, but his "flower" seems more part of his clothes than a necklace ..... roll

I prefer mithrils for sure ! Still I had always kept CH7 elf (bought in 1987) near my mithrils as I felt this minis was well proportioned and looked like mithrils.
And at the end, once I joined MMP, thanks to Gavin & Gildor, I discovered with great pleasure that it is indeed Master CT who sculpted this CH7 miniatures.
So to me, CH collection is part of Mithril prehistory, and this is why I wanted to collect these. And it is fun to compare old CH with new Phaeton which I also buy of course.

Now, collecting Friends & Foes is more linked to the fact I searched very deep to build PAM F&F complete database for the Wiki gallery.
Now it is done, I got caught by "Collectarium" virus....meaning I am more addicted than having many interrest for it. tongue

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huuuoooommmm ... all last entries are proof of what haste can cause ... rhuomm ... confusion that is for a simple mind as that one of a tree ... rhuoomm ... Master Barliman, what do you propose how to handle this mess ? ... rhuoomm .. er, ahem, this is a well-known and very well-kept tavern, meladies and gents ... grrrrrûoommm ... as you already have decided to frequent such a nice place again you better first choose about your first order ... huomm ... then you might ask if you can take one of the menues from the bar, as Nob cannot take them to each and any table around here because he has to be very much busy helping out in the kitchen (in case he remembers what I told him lately) ... huomm... sorry, it's only me again being left to run these premises accordingly ... huoommm ... though I can only do that when Master Barliman is downstairs to find the tinsels for a tree ... huoomm ... whatever that means ....
besides, I'm busy to have my 4200th entry before Yuletide .... alas .... rhuomm ... no, I won't be proud of that ... gruoommm ...
just a proof of me business around here ... huomm ... haven't even cleaned that down-trodden-smelly-wargskins yet ... homm ...
might have a chance to do that next week .... hoomm ... wouldn't we all like to have a nice Pony on Christmas this year? ... hooomrhûom ... ??? ...

mmhh , well I checked every existing entries from M70 to M120... in 1989 too... in my glass cabinet for those painted and in the database for the others... I really can't find any with a "flower necklace"...
