Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Ah, yes indeed, the old year has shuffled off and the new year is with us. May it bring everyone here at least some of the things that they want and need the most!

Now, who's responsible for all those empty bottles on the bar?

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

huoommm ... god bless, our barkeep is back again ... rhuoûm .... that might take off some of the troubles I had to endure here in The Pony last weeks ... rhuomm ... empty bottles, no problem, Master Barliman, not at all ... at the moment Master Ddaines is returning that empty barrel downstairs ... huoomm ... Nob's taking the empty bottles to the backyard ... where the pony is prancing ... rhuoommm ... er, Master Bartliman, you have to help me out of here, please. ... huomm ... alas, the balance ... oh ... it wasn't that good this year, as you might have guessed ... huom ... non-brisky at Yuletide, worse last evening ... alas, not even any Elf called in last night ... anyway ... rhuoomm ... there's nothing much I have to complain about so far .... rhuom ...

Barli, you don´t get mad. Empty bottles are just a sign that something has taken celebrated ....... Is not it good to celebrate "things"? smile

Yeah, maybe you are right. After celebrating there to put in order the inn ........hmm

I also hope that some coiny things changed hands!

But ah well, it was indeed a celebratory time of year, so I shan't complain too much. I'll just deduct the cost from Nob's salary. Again.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Hello, friends. Just wish that tonight will bring many gifts the Three Wise Men (in my house far more celebrated than Santa Claus). Never lose the illusion of children! (even though they tell you that you behave as such by collecting lead figurines ......)

Barli, today I woke up a little melancholy. aren´t there too much rat´s hair in the scrumpy? .....

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

I hope it was just rat's hair, gentlemen - the alternatives aren't very appealing.... And I hope that your three Magi bring you something you desire, Master Erchamion. For example, a case of better beer than mine.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Hello to everyone, it seems that many patrons are still sleeping off their celebrations!

I will sit here and enjoy this quiet dark corner, smoking my pipe. Barli, I'll leave a couple of coins for the ale I drink (no Scrumpy for me)!

So-
Just noticed, that our dear Master David is the winner of the current painting contest!
(at last, "they" came to an conclusion . . . how many weeks did it take . . . ? )

Anyway:  A BIG TOAST ON YOU, DAVID ! YOU DESERVE THIS !!!!!

Maybe the magic was the most powerful force in the world. But that was long ago.
The dragons are gone, the giants are dead and the children of the woods are forgotten.

Many thanks Master Turambar - it took a while to get there didn't it lol

My own personal opinion though is that as there were three figures on offer as prizes and three entries at the final count, it would have been perhaps a fair decision to give a figure to each entrant, and I will contact Michael to see if this would be possible, especially as Master Thingol has missed out.

So we will see smile

Congrats, Master David. T think you must have painted the figures on a day when you didn't drink anything in the Pony!

Well that's good news Nino big_smile, I think it the fairest way. I haven't read any messages from Michael yet so wasn't sure of the reaction, but it seems to be good news;).

Choose wisely my friend lol
