Spectacular, but probably very expensive! It's one I shall buy when there's a Mithril special discount offer!!

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

well maybe it won't be that expensive, remember it is NOT a GF figurine it is a MV, we have not seen MV for YEARS... and from what I saw on FB, Prince August just signed new partnerships with "Viking" in Russia to release products from the Mithril range in Russia which would strike a new market over there... there may be an opportunity ...
I dont think this vignette will cost even the price of the Unexpected party and maybe slightly more than the White Council.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

My piggy bank needs all the money it can eat right now. Mrs B has suddenly got an urge about renovating many things. This week it was a new bookshelf (for JRRT's books, of course), next week it'a a new bed and getting an electrician in. And we've already got a builder booked to sort out the outhouse roof, the gates into the yard and a leaking window. Money money money. Mithrils are therefore low on the priorities list, and need to be as inexpensive as possible if I'm to persuade Mrs B to let me buy them.

Well, Rogrog should be a troll, not an orc ....... roll (we will see the size....)

I love the design of the helmet and shield, like the old Angmar serie smile

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

I really hope that he's the large "traditional" Mithril troll size, and not the smaller "economy size" we've been seeing more recently!

See the anticipation is over, we are starting to come out of the woodwork once again lol

Was his 'victim' the next winning suggestion or was that not suggested? That may explain the pose being slightly less dramatic than the Angus McB illustration if there is no 'victim'.

Anyhow, best crack on with Boromir's boat, Rauros is waiting wink.

I must ask the Elf why I was asked a security question I never gave an answer to in the first place that appears to be preventing me from putting stuff in the new gallery section neutral.

Before I go though, a jug of your 'best please Barli.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Static, Master Mornedhel? No. Not more than other releases.
I agree to Master Thingol: the best orc since the last ten years.
Though the orc in this case seems to be a Troll. Obviously. As master Erchamion pointed out.
(oh yes- the old angmar range. Those were the best Orcs and Trolls ever. )
Congrats by the way for this suggestion! I think I have to spend coiny things . . .

Maybe the magic was the most powerful force in the world. But that was long ago.
The dragons are gone, the giants are dead and the children of the woods are forgotten.
