I understand yor feeling Master Milo but no one can help and the live must go on. Your support to the parents is the only important think that matter.
My elder girl, 16, lost her boyfriend in an car accident last December.

Sorry for those bad new!
I can't find (and maybe it's impossible ...) good words.
I just know that it's a heavy load to carry

I'm sorry, Master Theobald .... it seems that it's just a difficulty that I have with english, especially with all those "grrrruom" etc...
But it seems also that you're not always very comprehensive with me...
I don't want to hurt anyone here !
What is the problem exactly ????????
I'm not serious? I'm a troll ??
If I've posted something which is "idiot" or impolite or not at the good place, I accept that the post could deleted!
And if I don't speak English well enough, ..... nothing I can do !
So, please, stop those battles ! I can accept many things, but I'm tired with all those attacks ....

I would suggest, fellows, that if there is a dispute of this kind between people they should discuss it in private emails. It may be easier that way to establish what problems there are - if any.
I suggest that it may be, as Master Sam says, entirely an issue of misunderstandings due to language.

I'm ok! it seems that it's only a misunderstanding !
If I've hurted, shame on me, but I didn't intend to do that.

Not sure Master Tree about decline of interest in painting and sculpting figures. Just look at other forum/shops as coolminiornot, wamp, lost minis wiki …. The participation is very impressive (but they are not dedicated to a single manufacture).
It’s not a question of pricing either. To match up to figures with (my own opinion) same sculpting quality as Andrea miniatures, you get the same range of prices.
The question is about marketing Mithril. You will never witness something in figurine magazine or even in the mentioned forums above.

Master Barliman, please, bring me a drink, something very strong.
My colleague lost his 8 years old son yesterday...
I am about to go to funeral and I do not know if I will be able to support this.
I'm really sorry to hear such a sad news. Good luck to you Milo and especially the family of your colleague.
This is an incomparable loss, the loss of a child.
Words are hard to find in such circumstances.
You can only help you and your colleague to be present, he must be surrounded.

Excellent! That's what I like to hear. Otherwise I might have to let Nob out to bite a few kneecaps.

huoomm ... second, Master Sam Wise, I did not want to harm or even attack you at all ... rhuoomm ... and then I never intended to criticise your English, as mine also is not perfect at all ... huom ... we're not native speakers ... huooommm ... then you might be right that all my "rhuoms" and "gruooms" might be a bit too confusing .... maybe you can accept my apologies here in public ... rhuooûomm ? ...

well I suppose it is time I write to Chris again... as this information about the forthcoming vignette pricing is... totally absurd.
I do not say unacceptable it is not the point... just absurd to build a projet like this to promote and sell widely as a retail release.... at such a ridiculously high price. if the costs were that high, better not build the vignette at all in the first place...
they cannot count on the notoriety GW has to have as many collectors spending all their hard-gained money for a "hobby" of this "size"...Humility would do them well...

I'm sure we all do. As already mentioned, I also think the figures should be sold singly rather than as a set.

That would be the solution, of course.
But I have doubts. "The Sculptor" has conceived/designed this piece as a "vignette".
That means it is a "whole group" of different figures inside a context/theme.
If I will buy only four of them, the vignette is splitted off.
There are ten figures plus the Hobbit. So- what is the price for ten regular released figures?
I hope everybody is able to understand my english, though I am NOT a native speaker . . .

I can see what you mean, Master Archer, and the same doubt was lurking at the back of my mind, but I still feel it may prove to be the most satisfactory compromise - not least because it would help some of us (me included!) to buy the set gradually, rather than having to find all the money at once.

A regular M series figures is about 5-6 €max. So the calcul is easy : 11 * 6 € = 66 € not 180 €..........

Your forgot the base and the cost of the packaging box.
I will bet on 120 euro (revised)

Mithril´s website informs me about a price for the last Helm´s Deep range of 11.95 € for a single figure.
Don´t forget the Hobbit and the base!
And calculate once more.

I agree with Master Archer analysis.
Maybe another solution could be they propose monthly payment as per MX-UP.

This is all beginning to sound like it being an MS or MX figure rather than a good-old M release!

huoommm ... as for the price for the great-new-upcoming vignette I won't wager or guess any more, because all these efforts are in vain, methinks ... rhuom ... one day soon the price will be set ... and I think it will also have been seriously considered before ...huom ...
for those among you who like calculations, I suggest to think of the MX-UP as being 15 single MX-figures plus some furniture and a massive base, not to mention the instruction sheets and the box ... huoomm ... don't be surprised by the result ... rhuom ... ridiculous, isn't it? ... I simply think that some compromise will be found, also with the new vignette ... huomm ...
so why haste ? or worry? .... huommm ... in the Ent it's not us who will decide such matters, right? ... houoom ...

For me, good old-M release stopped being produced when LR set replaced primed miniatures....
Since then, some new M releases that were created are not as good, and much more expensive.

We may decide with our feet, as we say here in Bree. (Does that translate?)
Busy in here today, isn't it?

well that's precisely what I was saying on the forum... this is definitly not a MV, maybe a MB... though there is no big figure nor scene... and even MB would hardly reach above 60€
Sauron at Gorgoroth did cost 60€ for 3 figurines one of which being 54mm and quite elaborated, along with a very elaborated base.
even if you do 12€x11 (counting that 12€ includes the packaging so it should also count for the main big packaging), that makes 132€ + maybe 10 more euros for the base that would make 142€ RAW price individual... but as logistic stands, making bundles and figurines in "sets" reduce the costs as they can make several pieces and figurines on a single spinning mould which dramatically reduce the costs
well I hope Michael made a mistake and the price is closer to the white council than the unexpected party..... 100€ would be fair I think (not counting shipping costs which will be quite costly for a package this size... don't forget the weight of those big blue boxes... even empty they weigh a lot.. and that counts a lot for shipping price...)

hoooooommm ... Master Barliman, as far as I know that one was never planned to be released as MS or MX (which both couldn't be) ... it's more likely that it will be categorized either MV or MB ... never meant to be what you call "good-old M-release" which consisted of several single figures referring to a topic or race ... huomm ... ah, as I'm writing it comes to my mind that somewhen in the past we already had the discussion about if a vignette could be sold in single pieces ... hom ... it simply cannot be done that way ... huoommm ...
