Someone else will have to suggest him and put the picture up, because I'm not that tekny--, techny--, tecknik--
.....clever. I barely know how the pumps in the bar-room work.

sorry for interrupting this discussion.
I would like to invite Master David for the finest meal you are able to prepare, Master B.
That includes also your famous drink . . .
Coins? You need coins- no problem . . .

PS: that typical "kashinnk" isn´t heard. That´s because it was a note cool

A note? If I can't scratch glass with it, it isn't real money!

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Several weeks without coming in the taproom and when I return I hear strange stories about hobbits on ponies ........ well, it doesn´t seem so strange. In Bree there are hobbits usually and ..... there are ponies too.....

I've been all this time strolling through Arnor. I have met many friends of Master Theobald. I even managed to meet a lady Ent! ..... big_smile

I feel sure I've seen that picture before - it is (ahem) memorable. Wasn't it posted somewhere else on MMP some time ago? Or perhaps I'm suffering frpm deja vu.

It's possible. What it is almost certain is that Master Tree hasn´t seen before. He hadn´t let slip such beauty-lady-tree ......... wink

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

I don't know if you have read the last newsletter by Michael... as i said on the official board, I am perplex about the choice of figurines for the Hobbit... same references as the old Hobbit series, no change...

I must admit I was expecting some more "originality" rather than remake the old ones in another position...

well.. I suppose we're good for yet another Gandalf in the series *sigh*

It's certainly an odd decision. I wonder what the logic was behind it?

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Genius! That is absolutely genius.

I can´t wait to hold my 17th editon of Gandalf in my hand and have a certain look to find the small details which differ him from edition 8!
Well- I have to confess, that I am looking more interested to Elrond.
This is really a great thing, releasing these characters. Much more than the Arkenstone vignette.
I have to save some extra money for them  . . .

What you don´t know, fellows:
Mr. E. is a very professional business man who spend the last two years in making perfect selling concepts
concerning the release of the Hobbit films. So this is his result.
And it will help mithril to turn back again into the "old" times selling many brilliant figures . . .

My deepest respect !

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

News from the last newsletter about Hobbit figures is totally disappointed me.... I think this is not worth more than 5 Euros per figurine and 2,50 Euros for Bilbo and Gollum....

Or they may decide for us loyal customers to give those "new magnificent old figures in new positions" as gifts to satisfy us solace.... then this will make sense....

It would be better if they made 13 sealed barrels, so that we can play a game - "Find midget"....

Is the menthol candy to get rid of the taste of the scrumpy?

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

huooommm ... from my humble point of view Master Thingol is absolutely right ... rhuom ... concerning disappointment but also with his suggestion of having those sealed barrels being produced as that would be a wise decision ... huomm ... you just need one master-barrel to produce 13 for one set ... rhuooûm ... though ... wouldn't it then be better to sell such a set as an MS-release? ... hom ... then you could charge about 20€ per barrel, which makes about 260€ for such a set of barrels ... rhûom ... or ...
let me think for a moment ... ah, yes, it could also be merchandised as a boxed-set "Bilbo and the Dwarves in barrels floating in the river" ... huooomm ... yes, indeed, for that you wouldn't even need a river ... rhuom ... now that could be easily done, because the MS582 "Goldberry communing with river" also does not depict a river at all ... huom ... so all in all you just need one barrel to be sculpted ... ? ... no, you just take the larger one of the "Raft-Elves" vignette to save some time and money and then announce the "Bilbo and the Dwarves - floating in the river" boxed-set as a very special and limited offer for, let's say, 300€ ...
huom ... I'm sure all the world would be very much surprised and stunned ... rhûom ... then I can also imagine the queues in front of the no-more-existent retailer shops at the date of the release of such an inventive and creativity-teasing vignette ...

huuommm ... sorry ... with this I do not want to cause any harm at all ... rhuoom ... I was just contemplating about Master Thingol's idea ... huoommm ...
