Actually, the word "after" isn't commonly associated with Bree Scrumpy. There usually isn't an "after" – at least, not immediately. The next "after" is on average about two days later. Re-learning to focus your eyes can take considerably longer.
True my dear barli, I read everything about melting t° and other stuff. I wonder if your scrumpy could help to solve definitly this issue.

Thanks for the well organised mention even if it's not my girl-friend opinion
Time, Matser tree, time and desire sometime
.
Beside Mithril is not my only figurine collection and I paint other sculptors as Tom Meier or patrick masson

Mithril online survey:
An interesting question asked (I assume you have all receieved the survey) about re-releasing the early ranges - re-tooling M16?
Owners of this who have paid a lot of money to acquire one might be getting a little nervous if this were to happen
Offline
The only reason for anyone to be concerned by it is if they consider their Mithrils to be a financial asset. I always have, and always will, look upon Mithril "collecting" as a hobby. I've never bought Mithrils with a view to making a profit by selling them on at a later date. Consequently seeing the earlier ones available again doesn't worry me at all - indeed, I'd be delighted to see so many fine figures become available again. Not wanting them to be re-realeased, and thereby depriving people of the chance to own them, seems a tad selfish!

I agree there Barli, I buy (with the (forlorn) intention) to paint and create scenes, not as an investment opportunity, even those figures gifted to me are for the brush one day
. I ticked the 'Yes' button by the way
.
I don't have M16 to sell or paint, nor would I pay the collectors prices they go for, the reason for the post comment is that there is a similar develpoment regarding a Japanese resin 'Garage kit' producer whose OOP figures on the secondary market go for silly money, and they are apparently reissuing some of their work much to the horror of those who have A. stashed them away as investments, and B. those who may have paid in excess of $1-2,0000 for some of the rarer kits.

The expression "more money than sense" springs readily to mind.

If they reproduce those early miniatures, they will probably make a small change to tell them apart from the original. If they do that then the collectors prices should be safe.
There are some that I would like to see back in production, but I might rather see the work going into making new releases.
Offline
If they reproduce them with slight changes, such as the copyright and reference below the base that would do no harm for collectors. but reproducing them strictly the same is a mistake as it breaks completly the "collector" purpose of mithril.
that's why I answered "yes to some of them".... the exemple of the M16 comes to mind... Beside it's collector value... this figurine in itself is "common" and has no special thing about herself it could easily be replaced by another "common" figurines IF you are not a collector. But when it comes to Radagast on foot, to some of Tharbad, or Angmar or Mirkwood figurines, these are unique and are not reproduced anywhere else and should benefit a remake.

Huoommm ... I cannot understand what all this is about ... huom ... and to be honest, I'm more and more less interested in such matters ... rhuoommm ... as long as that small company is not able to pack and deliver ordered goods within appropriate time (I ordered the new vignette immediately after it was announced to be released - but still have not received it yet) I think they won't be able to cope with more than one release per month ... grûoomm ... that simply is annoying ... rhuoooommmm ...
as for a possible re-release of the below 100 M-series I have to say that it really doesn't matter to me .... rhuom ... I still regard collecting Mithril-miniatures as my hobby and never had any financial interest about that back in my mind ... huomrhuom ... as some of you might guess ... huom ....
er, sorry ... rhuom ... I just witnessed that Master Shadyt is right from my point of view .... huoommm ... why not better make new releases (even series) instead of re-producing those old ones? .... huomm ... what about the 3rd "Helm's Deep" series? ... what about the "Easterling" series? ... alas, there's quite a lot one could do to improve the M-series instead of dusting old moulds .... rhuommm ... so that's it ...
Master Barliman, may I now have a bowl of that delicious-watery-honey-coloured-non-sparkeling liquid, please?

You may, Master Tree.
And I think you may have answered your own question as regards re-issuing old figures rather than releasing new ones. The answer? Re-issuing old figures is probably easier.
Offline
My top choice for remake in the first 100 would be the Far Harad series M73-M81
Offline
At some point I will probably collect and paint all of the Rohan miniatures. Having those early ones reproduced would be a big help.

huoommm ... thank you very much indeed, Master Barliman ... rhuomm ... yer know sometimes I tend to tell me thoughts ... hoomm ... so, may I have another bowl of that you-know-what-special liquid, please ... huomm ... er, sorry, this time without them rat-tails, please ... huoommmm ?

No rats' tails? What, are you mad...?

Interesting discussion guys.... actually I put answer "NO" on this question about reproducing figures under M100... and this is only one reason ( ant this is already pointed here ):
There are many... many...many... more figures on The Man's drawer... on our heads... on Tolkien books...and if this is gonna happen this would be in this moment mistake of the decade.... Chris have great potential to make new previously never released figures and once when he would not able to make new figures then mithril factory can make reproductions of those figures... till then this would be nonsense.
And then they could write on base year of this rereleases so the old figures can keep their collection value...
As Master Tree said... this is our hobby... for me this is important and I never thought about selling my figures... I hope I will never I will not be in a position to think otherwise.....
Offline
well if the re-release of old M1-100 figurines is in ADDITION or regular releases, why not in a sense, but if this is a replacement.... no way...
Offline
huommm ... yep, I'm mad, Master Barliman, I knew that before ... rhuoommm ... you might stick to your very special brew, but rather consider to take those spicy rats' tails out of the bowl before serving the liquid ... huomm .. just a thought ...huom...
hmmm ...
as for that other matter I just can imagine that Master Thingold's words are right, as he lately has discussed such matters with The Man .... rhuoomm ...

As you intimated in your earlier post, Master Tree, the Survey is likely to prove meaningless anyway, since Mithril will do nothing, regardless of what the responses might reveal. All in all a pointless exercise, therefore.
