Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Looks like a very impressive bit of modelling, but what is the company? It's a much more accurate representation of the Ian McKellen version of Gandalf than GW's - especially if the scale is genuinely 30mm and not some sort of super-sized hybrid (or "Hero Scale", as the Fantasy companies like to call it).

it does not look like being 32mm... i'd say bigger...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

On another matter entirely, might anyone here know why on earth I've been sent an MS435, apparently purchased on eBay circa 14 September? It's a mystery to me. I've found a completed eBay listing that matches that date, and the price is rendered in green on the item's page, which normally indicates that the account holder (i.e. me) won the item, but I didn't bid on it, win it or pay for it (it certainly doesn't show up on my PayPal account), so I'm utterly mystified.

The only thing I thought might explain it is if someone here asked for it to be mailed to me for forwarding. Did they? Not that this would explain the winner's "green" price showing on my eBay page.

Very, very confusing.

I've sent an email to the only recent MS435 eBay seller that I can find, so I guess I shall have to wait and see what they say. Currently I'm extremely puzzled, since obviously the seller must have got my address from somewhere in order to mail the figures.

OMG, this must be confusing and strange to you indeed !
lollol

Really sorry about that Master Barliman, I made a mistake when I sent payment for this mini.
As you once helped me with an ebay seller who did not ship to France, your address was kept in my computer's cache memory. Somehow I must have checked your address for delivery.... Did you keep the mini ? if yes just tell me how much you need to send it to my home.

I love this sentence. I imagine you behind the bar holding in one hand this blister and on the other hand a nice pint (or maybe cup of tee)  big_smiletonguetongue

Only acceptable if it comes with strawberry jam and really thick butter.

Yes, I've still got the figures. I've just sent the seller an email apologising for the confusion. I'll mail the figures on to you (might not be able to send it till Monday now - hope that's all right).

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Bravo thingol, you deserve it. smile
I just saw new MS591 & MS593. The old lady looks great and very original in mithril's range !

Abpout loyalty figures, you can choose some and request for it in your next order for free, depending on how many loyalty points are credited to your account:
"Add a comment in your order with the code number of the figure you want and staff will deduct the required points from your account."
I could already have 1 of each but do not need any reference prospoed so I did not use my loyalty points yet.

Another way I just discovered is to check option "Use your advantage points" in your cart. This provides automatic price reduction !
It is a far better option for good clients. big_smilelolbig_smile

Huuoommmm ... well, Master Barliman ... er ... a good tap-pump works best if you try to use the handle vertically ... huom ... there's no use in trying to shift it to the left or right .... huoommm ... that's all I know ... rhuoommm ... though ... talking about turning tabs it just comes to my mind to ask you if my latest tab can be turned again for giving you more space to scratch some more of your very nice marks on it ... ? ....

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

huoommm ... I forgot ... sorry, Master Milo ... rhuôm ... indeed I know a bit how to cope with those advantage-loyalty-pointy-things ... rhuom ... I just don't know what to do with them as they seem to extinguish after a short time ... huom ... I am collecting Mithril figures for quite a while ... huommm ... have them ... so what about getting some figures (of the obviously non-selling old series) for free? ... rhuom ... what to do with spare ones? ... huômm ... see, here is where I disagree with Master Albert, who once stated and tried to prove that space is not limited .... grrr0uuummm ... I can tell you that my space for keeping Mithril miniatures has become very much limited by now ... rhuooomm ... no place for spare ones left .... alas ... huomm ...

I totally agree Master ent.
Lack of space pushes me also to take the price reduction for my next purchases instead of having more spare miniatures.

Alas ... I don't know why we understand each other that well, Master Milo.  We seem to have the same problems and attitudes.
At the Moment I'm trying to re-arrange my complete Phaeton-Design collection in a glass-cabinet which was in need of being dusted and polished. - Er, I hate dusting and polishing glass, by the way. Though ... sometimes it's worth it, meseems.

4444 sounds as good a number as any to celebrate. One clear bowl of......er, well almost non-alcoholic brew, coming up. No rat tails? Are you sane?
