Re: THE TAPROOM 2

huooommmm ... I've got the impression that many around here seem to enjoy the better aspects of an upcoming winter ... huom ... such as mulled wine, warmer drinks and nice biscuits, nuts and other delicious things ... rhuom ... nay, it's not winter yet ... it just had become a bit foggy, cold and freezy ... hom ... there are still some frozen leaves on trees ... huomm ... this is not winter, gentlemen ... huom ... it's not even in sight ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoommm ... as I tried to point out before ... it's not winter yet ... huooommm ... it's just the late time of this year ... huuom ... no reason to hide away under blankets in front of a sparkeling hearth sipping some very-well-warmed- liquid ... huoomm ...
there still are things to do, meladies and gents, just think of your old forgotten bartabs Master Barliman has to keep ... huom ..
though, to be honest, most of you were willing to contribute a bit this year ... hom ... anyone around here who gave Nob a tip?
... alas ... me? ... the tree? ... at least so far I managed to clean them old-trodden-worn-still-bity-wargskin-rugs accordingly ... hom ... gave them a good shrub today which only cost me three twigs ... huoommm ... later I will have to dust the Dark Corner a bit, while the ranger is asleep ... rhuuoommm ... alas, there's so much to do in here before I have to leave in time..rhuoomm ...

Master Barliman, I just come home from hospital where I had surgery (3 big teeth removed). I look like a hamster this evening. hmm
I need to eat & drink but only liquid & cold is allowed for next 4 days. Could you manage something special for me?

Thanks in advance

Is that in sympathy with Milo's teeth, or the concoction that Barli will brew up under the label 'Special'? lol

Hello Nino, and all Mithril friends!

Nino, I am sorry to hear of your dental problems. I hope you are better soon!

A round of drinks for all Barli, and make Nino's a double--alcohol is a pain killer ;-)

Here are your coiny things!

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

If it is any consolation I have to visit the 'tooth-butcher' on Friday although I don't anticipate major problems I know the drill-thingy will be in action sad.

Hope you are soon recovered Master Milo - it is not good for a Hobbit to miss so many breakfasts, Nuncheons, luncheons, afternoon tea, high-tea, dinners and suppers lol

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

I know all about this tooth demolition business, Master Milo. I've lost six over the past three years – side-effect of drinking too many sugary drinks to control my wonderfully erratic diabetes. So you have my sympathy, Master M.

Ah, the joys of getting older!

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Epidemic?? I rather think it's something we can call "pass the time". Except Gildor and Thingol, who are elves, and myself, I'm dead, the other you are subject to aging. In addition, we are still in Autumn, the season of "fall" ..... roll

It has nothing to fear, friend Barli. For many years come to Bree to drink and talk with friends and I have never left my bar tab is very large ...... (though if I've missed more invitations from you).....
