I think I will go in the inn aswell, inviting those gentle people for a drink!

This is my just started new diorama project.
I will look at this link only once mine is achieved so that I am not influenced in any way, (except by J.R.R. Tolkien artwork of course).
I must hurry to build this house at least...hmm

Yes, I received it on Tuesday.
There are some interesting scenes, BUT : there's a scene where the dwarves are trapped by goblins where their king sings a song .... ridiculous.

Re: THE HOBBIT MOVIE

You sound like you're all set to go! Looking forward to seeing it ourselves, before all the noisy kids are on their Christmas holidays and ruin the film for serious children like us.

We've watched the extended movie DVD and are now working our way through all the appendices. I'm absolutely amazed by the detail of the sets and the level of production that's been applied to every aspect. Wish I could be even half as talented as the artists involved in these films!

Re: THE HOBBIT MOVIE

How many minuets of additional footage added to the first film? Not counting appendices.

Re: THE HOBBIT MOVIE

There's about an extra 13 minutes. It's apparent from watching it that small extra bits have been inserted all over the place. As far as I'm concerned it improved the flow overall.

Re: THE HOBBIT MOVIE

Sorry, it is a link from my favourite site- german in this case- but it shows you three videos of "B-roles", non used scenes for DOS.
Take it as an addition to the 13 th production video . . .
