Re: The Travelling Elrond

Be sure about this, dear Thingol. - as far as I could retrace his travels and kept him moving again. Of course I'm missing the guiding hand of Mistress Wendy by now, but what else could I do?
So far I just found out where Elrond was staying for some while ... For that I had to enforce all my detective skills and some contacts. Nevertheless, I'm absolutely sure that Halbarad II will very soon host our "Travelling Elrond". And I can also be sure he will pass it on to his next stay at Turambar's place.

Alas, there still is something we should have to consider.
Wendy organized all of Elronds stays and I try to keep on to that list. (You remember that there have been many changes in between).   No one does try to keep record any more. I'm asking, if we could just stick to Wendy's latest list.

I need some help from you.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Hi Folks!

Is there any reference that Elrond has been at all places of the list on the first page here?
Then I think there should be a bit more pictures of the visits!
Come on fellow collectors, show the pictures to us all!

Yet hope remains while all the company ist true.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

... and, gentlemen, let's please get back to terms.

In case you want to hassle or row, go to the Prancing Pony, please, as that might be a better place to do that. You might never have witnessed, but, for example, I do not use those "Huoooms" outside the Pony.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

As for the "Travelling Elrond" I just felt a bit obliged to help out, as Mistress Wendy still is a bit absent. (I helped out in the Pony twice, so I do hope I can handle this, too.)

Dear Ranger of the Black Forest, don't worry. Master Zoetrop told me that he just wanted to take some pics of Elrond's stay at his place (after he became aware that he still kept him). I'm sure he did by now. You confirmed the contact both of you now have. As it is not a long way from Berlin to the Black Forest I think you'll be able to unpack Elrond with all the other attachments soon.
As for pictures of Elrond's visit at my place I provided a lot of them (too many) right in this thread a long time ago. In the parcel I just placed some picture postcards of my hometown-village, according to Wendy's suggestion.

By now I'm busy to to trace the next stays of our "Travelling Elrond". As far as I can remember it would be Turambar's place after Elrond will have left your home, Master Halbarad II.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Mind please that this list does not match to Elrond's real travels well. It was changed, as sometimes it was. According to Wendy, who always tried to organize the travels, as for not having to take too long distances (e.g. from Australia to the US, then to Europe, there and back again etc.).
Definitely Elrond's next stop will be in the Black Forest in Germany after I sent him off in March 2012 to Berlin.
Sorry, but this is all I can do at the moment.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

I'll get back to this tomorrow ... I still have to research a bit more ... thank you, Master Thingol ... that means  Elrond  was planned to be going from Germany to Croatia, Australia then to the USA and Canada and to Europe back again ... I remember such ideas, when Mistress Wendy changed the list once.

By the time Master Elrond is due to go to Australia I might be back already if he is traveling with the same speed he's done so far... lol

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Well yes, Master Hsf62 ... I cannot influence any route Elrond might be taking, though I tried a bit recently. I do remember that you once thought of visiting your sister in the southern parts of Germany ... but that was a while, or years ago, wasn't it? If you can manage, just travel on about a mere 600 km to be my welcomed guest. There you can see again all them conversions of figures you gave me for free. Well, you know what I'm talking about. - Holger, du bist jederzeit im Osning (i.e. the old name of theTeutoburger Wald, we Ents still use here) willkommen, just tell me if you can afford the time to go that far north.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

As for you, Melady Sevlag, it wasn't Master Milo thinking of you, it rather was Mistress Wendy in her plans for the route of Elrond. She then didn't know your name, but was fascinated by the fact that there is another female member having become active in those days. - Anyway, I also like some western parts of France as well.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Master Elrond must have spend a long time in the woods to adapt so perfectly to the slow harmony in there. On the other hand it could be he was here in OZ already and took on some of the "relaxed speed" from here some might have wittnessed in dealing with me! lol Good things takes its time...wink
Thanks for your offer Master Ent. I'm sure I'll find some time to visit you within the timespan I'll be in Germany.wink

Re: The Travelling Elrond

11th of March human year 2014
Hi everybody out there!

Mae Govannen! well meet indeed!

Well... Good News: Master Elrond has arrived in the beautiful region
around the famous City of Heidelberg in south-west of Germany!
The honourable Wizard Aresius (my friend) gave him a warm welcome to our home until I,
Halbarad II. came home from the woods (work) after nightfall.
This is really a great journey, that Master Elrond is on, and the time is quite right:
For at first I took him out on our big terrace behind the house,
and all the stars where out! Elrond loved it and we even
had a look at Menelmacar, the swordsman of the sky, who is in the south right now.
There is also a little brook behind our house, which is murmering happily all time and a great old willow tree beside it,
which has the first appearance of green.
And tomorrow morning Master Elond will be awaken by all the merry singing birds of springtime.
I'm sure he will have a jolly good time around here with us. Me and Wizard Aresius will show him
many enchanted and beautiful places like the castle of Heidelberg (one of the most famous and most visited places of interest of all Germany)

I'm very happy to take part in Elrond's travel, mennai tá, si vanta yesta
Greetings, Harald Halbarad II.

Now I'm very much relieved to witness that Elrond has really taken up his travels again. Obviously he found another nice home where he will be hosted well, I'm sure.

Indeed, Master Thingol. - And I'm sure that you will host him next after he will have left Germany.
So far I'm just waiting for the pictures Master Protozeus promised to take some days ago.
