Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Congrats and thanks for the drink. A barrel of ale would do to prepare Wold cup 1/4 final against Germany. tongue

LOL. Master Mornedhel, the USA goaltender was awesome--of course, I am a USA fan! We are new to Futbol, but will become better.

Tom, For sheer entertainment value and gritty determination the US of A still deserve to be in the competition, value for money to the 'bitter end' wink (unlike some highly paid, underperforming primadonnas sad I could mention)

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Interesting statement from the latest Newsletter!

MYSTERY RESOLVED AT LAST:

Over the years that we have been running the monthly fellowship figure competitions there have been so many excellent ideas for figures put forward by members which have fired my imagination and which I have been very keen to sculpt but which have failed to win the vote. By definition, although some are reprised during subsequent months, most never see the light of day again. I have made a note of my favourites for a while now and have decided to make the occasional piece in what my be called a "designer's choice" series. Workload recently has prevented me from completing the first pieces, but they are planned into the range and the M594 and M596 have been set aside for this purpose. We will be announcing soon which will be the first piece to be produced.

Of the recent World Cup result, well a toast of Scrumpy and commiserations to Forum Friends on both sides wink

Yes, I saw this too, and I'm wondering what it portends.

The new MX shown in the newsletter is certainly rather nice.

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

grrrrûom ... I always wanted to complain about the official Mithril Fellowship website, so I do now ... huoommm ... whenever I log in to that site I'm getting angry because of that "announcement" of the Helm's Deep 2 M-series which is quite obsolete ... rhuom ... I like those figures, but don't like to see them on that site any more ... rhomgrûom ... I would be happier to see an announcement for the realease of the Helm's Deep 3 M-series instead ... hom !

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

well you might wait a lonnnnng time before seeing the HD3 being released I fear sad

you are not alone to be disapointed by the site, actually, why advertising for regular series at all if they are obsolete. They should themselves accept they only release GF figures and only advertise for them.
Actually they could even try selling them to non members, considering there is no more a requirement of number of figurines bought to be a member I heard?  GF members would only get the possibility to suggest, vote and have the "introduction figures"

ah but I forgot... Opening those to all customers would generate tooooo much sales and they would not be certain to have the correct number of castings per batch, because they indeed only produce figurines, per the number of GF members...
.... silly thing...

well, to change topic... I just made my month suggestion, as it is AT LAST a double/mounted month this time.... a "on in a two year" opportunity !

I hope my suggestion will get some success, I already suggested it once in the past... so let me advertise a bit here!
Vote for King Elessar at the Black Gate... ( uh uh wink )

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

huommm ... well, Master Gildor, indeed I do not expect to see the HD3 being released some day in the future, as Mithril or Phaeton Design won't do that I'm afraid ... huom ...

As for those figures you called "introduction figures" let me tell you I gave up recently... huommm ... I never received any, though I contacted the Company about this matter several times and, of course, offered to pay for them ... huom ... so of all my winning suggestions (and there are some) I never ever received such a figure ... hooom ... that's it - as I said I simply gave up ... grûom ...

huommm ... Master Gildor, feel free to advertise for your suggestion here, why not? The Pony is a good place for doing that ... huommhom ... as for me I have to state that I lost interest (and ideas) suggesting anything ... maybe next year or in years to come I might change my mind .... homtidommm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

huoomm ... yes indeed, I was just referring to the fact that we once were promised by the Company to receive a figure of a winning suggestion reading "nr.1" at the sub-reference (as Master Gildor once called it) under the base ... rhuom ... of course that did not mean that the figure was for free, of course ... huom ...as far as I can remember Master Thingol is the only one who received a "nr1"-thing ... huommm ... after having had persistantly asked for that .... grûómmrhuom ... as I pointed out before, I really do not mind at all ... huoooommmm ... anyone could take his drill to add "nr 1" at the base, right? ...huom ...

Huomm ... I don't want to cause any trouble here, I simply was trying to get rid of some of my disappointments concerning a certain Company ... huommm .... that's all there is ... er, a bowl of that liquid please, Master Barliman .... huuuuuuuom ...

I confirm that I received my 3 winning suggestions engraved with 1. To do so, I always add a note recalling this is my winning suggestion.

I also received my winning suggestion with a #1 below it (I even ordered two Sauron at Gorgoroth, and precisously kept , in blister, the #1 one... and painted the other) I did the same for Sauron at Sammath Naur...
also got #1 for Cirdan and the others, but I insisted each time, writing beforehand to the dispatch team to get them

about intro stuff, I was talking about the MS423 anf the tengwars

Hey Milo, the girl told me couple of minutes ago, that the croissantes are gone for this morning.
Do you have an idea?
