Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Have another beer on the house, Master Dave. We'll all be able to console each other under the table after an hour or so.

OK, you can try porridge made with Pimms. It sounds gross, but you probably won't care after half a bowl.

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

GIN,
Master Barliman.
I had different ones this summer evening and I am not quiete sure if it depends on the tonic you use to have the "special" one . . .
You are the barkeep and able to give me an sophisticated answer . . .

No- there is no dawn around, therefore it is "only" 2.35 am, NOT 4.54 am when I visited Master Theobald . . .

Maybe the magic was the most powerful force in the world. But that was long ago.
The dragons are gone, the giants are dead and the children of the woods are forgotten.

Strange indeed, but fascinating and endearing. As I said, I'm still missing our own little friend, but he had a good innings. I don't think we shall get another. I get too emotionally involved with them.

Pimms coming up - no umbrella.

Sincerely sorry Master Barliman. It's always very sad to lose one of our little friends, I also lost my cat last January and I said that I shall have no other ..... and look what arrived there a few days in our house:

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

I got my MX 600 yesterday, I'm disappointed she arrived in an ordinary plastic box and not in a nice box like the other MX ... hmm
But the scene is very beautiful and I'm inspired, it gave me want to get back to painting ... so I'll meet you in some time to show you that.
Meanwhile, to celebrate that I offer drinks for everyone (I'll leave a few coins Master Barliman tongue)

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Your little cat is so cute!
Thanks for the drink. I take a pint of ale today to refresh myself.

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Certainly is a cute kitten – they all are.

Cold pale ale, I assume, Master Milo?

Incidentally, has anyone else noticed the weird Fellowship vote totals? They've suddenly transformed - the Haradrim mounted drummer now has zero votes....

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

huoommm ... you're not the only one who witnessed that, Master Barliman ... rhuomm .... but that's the way it goes, I'm afraid, when there's only one vote and that can be swapped until voting ends ... huoommm ... and that's the point ... you vote ... huom ... then after that you don't have to stick to it any more until the time for voting ends .... gruômmm ... indeed a bit weird such kind of voting is, isn't it? .... huom ... as for me, I will never understand it ... huom ... but mind, I'm just an Ent who doesn't know much about voting ... huomm ... that's why we occasionally have Enthings when serious decisions have to be made and then every Ent has to stick to his vote ..... huommm ... now, that's a bit different ... hom

Yes- from me aswell. Whereever you are . . .

(perhaps he stays in Germany meanwhiling. That means he could have a cool delecious beer . . . instead of that scrumpy stuff . . .  )

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

And what's wrong with the scrumpy stuff? Some pf my best work! It can strip the paint off an average-sized wall in 13 minutes.
