I like the head swap on the Variag, that was a good choice.

Seems that many people out there cut the bases that come with the miniatures, but instead of doing that, you seem to integrate the original base into the new base, could you explain how you do it?

Dear Master Maenas... Yes you are right...I like my miniatures bases feels like integrate...so.... firt y cut the original base...usually cutting the corners is ok...then i fix the miniature with glue on a round plastic base with some metal glue...and afther dry...I use some "Das" puty (you can use another brand) to build the empty places....
Here some finish samples:

Oh! Thank you for sharing that method ^^ And I also used that Das putty to work on the gaps around the wings and the legs of MB345 and MB358 as a cheap green stuff (when I painted both dragons I was not aware that "green stuff" exists)

Angus McBride Mithril miniatures
Inspiration:
Wargames Factory have some plastic Orcs inspireds on Angus Mc Bride concept. But I'm not happy with their quaitly so I'm planning to use some pieces to "update" my mithril orcs in to a more Angus Mc Bride stile!!!
After some work on them ...here they are:

Thanks guys!!!! Now I have time to work on this project!!
Orc amry:60-70 orcs project, many of them with conversions!
Here s nice picture.... I find in internet... is perfectly to show my project idea:
I want to prepare 3 diferent orcish forces all of them Angus Mcbride Stile:
1)Saruman forces: Uruk Hai, Half-orcs and some trackers (small orcs/snagas). The bigest ones. good quality armours in black color with white hand image.
Great Uruks,Uruks from mordor and Gundabad and big orcs are perfects to represent my Saruman Uruks.
2)Hithaeglir orcs: Small orcs and snagas from the mountainsm they live in caves. Can't suport the sun. Smallers. fur cloths with little metal and wepons.
some orcs from warband box, hithaeglir orcs and gundabad orcish are perfects!
3)Mordor Orcs: Orcs and some Uruk Leaders. middle size. Armour=black oxid armour with red eye
armoured orcs,some uruks
to represent my small orcs and snagas only I have 3 models(M328 & M335) Is easy use some 15mm orcs to represent snagas but i prefer only use "mithril" so I will do some conversions!

I paint my last mithril orcs in Grey colors....few of them in diferen colors....now....I'm thinking to use some diferent colors
Saruman forces= Dark Greys and Dark browns colors
Hithaeglir orcs= Green/bronw skin color (like cave trolls). I love this miniatures and the skin color match perfect:
Mordor orcs= Browns and greys colors (uruks more darks)

Chris Tubb sculpted some small goblins and sold them under Phaeton design. I will send you a picture.
