Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Do you mean warm as in coffee, or warm as in cognac? I'm personally more in favour of the latter at the moment.

Good eveing

I will share a drink today. Cause I saw the first sunray for 22 days of grey sky. I was wondering if Sauron will launch his armies before Imbolc.

Maby you can put some swimming-candles into the bowl of  . . . whatever, Master Barliman.
Just finished another non-mithril-figure for my non-existing glass cabinet.

You should think of your non-erxisting glass cabinet as a "virtual" glass cabinet, Master Archer.

I'm in a hurry as I have to leave soon ... because I placed some opinion on that "Movie-Thread" around here ... hom ... they'll be after me soon that's why I don't have much of that time, you know .... huoooomm ... so, please, could you hurry .. ? haste ? ... do? ... huom ... after that I'll be off for a while ... huom ... some things to do, you know ... would you mind if I take them wargskins with me ... ?

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

I'm sure no one will be "after you". Master Tree. Everyone in the Pony is very open-minded and ready to listen to alternative opinions, I'm sure! (At least, I hope they don't chase you away, and you don't run away, before you've settled your 2014 bar tab...)

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Huoomm ... alas, that's where you got me, Master Barliman ... indeed ... h°ummm ... providing coiny-things for a drenched bar tab is not a matter us trees concern a lot .... that one from year 2013 has been forgotten, left somewhere in the shelves at your back once you were absent, I think, and by now must have been dried up for about a year, or so ... huoomm ... I put it there just for keeping it safe, yer know ... huoommm ... to be honest, Master Barliman, I just want to avoid them tinsely-and-shiny-things around me this year ... huom ... I hope I'll be off before you find all that .... huom ... anyway, thanks a lot for that hastily-provided drink ... though you could have topped it up a bit ... alas ... huom ... them wargskins I took away already, you know ... hom ...

I noticed. So long as you clean them before you bring them back I'll tear up the bar tab.

Have a good Xmas wherever it is you're going!

Good point - hurrah! The sooner the sun is back to dry out my muddy garden the better! Walking along the garden path each evening to put food out for the badgers is like toiling across the Western Front in WW1. I'm thinking of getting stilts...

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Gentlemen, as we approach Christmas I'd like to wish you all a very happy Christmas indeed. From tomorrow and until Dec 27th I won't be at home and won't have access to the net, so this is the time...

I hope Santa will be generous with you all, and I'll see you around , hopefully, before New Year's Eve !

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

why not... today... Even the orcs can be baptized... It's just easy.  Scary guys just can put the mask of good character on their "nice" faces, and the fathers of faith give them redemption... ;-) nothing special indeed....
Merry Christmas mithril Masters !
Cheers....

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Huoommmgruômmm ... I'm just back again here, right in time meseems, Master Barliman ... huom ... them wargskins once again are cleaned ... has to be done once in a year, right? .... hooomm ... this year I let them have a nice teeth-brushing and tongue-cleaning using appropriate tools... it wasn't a problem to dry them as winds are fiercely blowing for days by now ... gruom ... so they didn't dare to let off their nice teeth from the cord ... which also kept them from biting ... rhuoomm ....

So, some gentlemen an orc around here are hasty offering them seasonal greeetings already ... huomm ... thank you for that, gentlemen and orc ... thank you indeed, but as for me, I'll do likewise but I cannot haste, as those older regulars here might still remember ... huoomm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

I like the sound of MidWinterPisdUp, Master Gavin. That sounds like MY kind of midwinter festival.

May you all get everything you want this Yule.

Merry Christmas and goodwill to all Men, Hobbits, Dwarves, Elves, Ents et al (and even Orcs and Trolls if they leave their boots outside and pay their bar tabs).
