Some non-Mithrils...

Here are the minis I mentioned a while back.  The sculpts really are awful, but hey, it makes me appreciate Mithrils that much more.  big_smile

What minis are those? Are they lord of the rings? I am not sure where you mentioned about these otherwise I would look it up.

They were not the range I thought, the ones I had were sculpted from the cartoon film and looked like 'roughs' for a concept idea not a finished product.

Dear Wendy, do not waste your quite fine painting talents trying to get the best out of this figures. wink

See, they do make one appreciate Mithrils even more.  And you hurt no one - you just said what everyone is thinking.  big_smile

There is no way I'd even try to paint the ugly little guys...it would be an exercise in frustration.

Jason - all I know is they say Custom Cast 1975 on the bottom.  The top picture are all hobbits.
