Good afternoon Master Brewer. A cool ping of your beer please.

I think we do not wait for our beloved firm for nothing, special month ahead?

Let's hope you're right. But it's worrying that there's absolutely no news whatsoever re Fellowship suggestions this month.

Michael is late because is awaiting Lars's approbation ... for ...
Is it not the 10th anniversary of MIthril Gold fellowship?

Cheers

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Hello Guys,

I am sorry if I am not been very active on MMP of late, but more on the official board actually... I apologize. Actually when I learned Tolwen left the GSF, that put a cold in my back and I felt somewhat guilty and did not know what to say and I have remained silent, which is not very polite and I apologize for that too sad

The current matters on the official board about suggestion delays, Mithril staff silence and everything is weighing on me, and for the first time in 20 years I even had the idea about totally giving up on mithril... which is no small thing sad But I told myself I had time to wait and see... As some master ents would say, we must not hurry things

What pains me and frustrates me the most, is the same thing as our dear master Turambar here (well I think, at least)... it's not the lack of production, it's the lack of releases... I know there are lots of figurines waiting to be in our hands, both Mithril and Phaeton, and having all those figurines "beyong accessibility" is really infuriating...

If nothing was sculpted I would not have the same feeling... but that's not the case here hmm

Well I hope you are not too mad at me and will forgive me my late silence.... A round of Ice cold drinks on me master Innkeeper!

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Ice cold drinks are what is needed indeed. As for news from Mithril, well, waiting is all we can do. In the meantime the ongoing silence from the emerald isle remains unusual and unexplained.

I will have a good fresh pint of ale. I heard a storm from western lands. I feel  like I'd better sit here and even spleep in one of your bedrooms master Barliman, if I can affor it. hmm

Alternatively you could always shelter in the cellar - always the safest place to hide from storms. Er, unless the rain floods them, that is.

I do fully understand you Master Gildor....  but I think that we cannot have the same look on mithril policy. Especially not employees who works at the factory and there earn their wage. They are doing what Lars said and he's said "Waterloooooooooooooooo" this year..... and your words to the official forum was like "fist to the eye"... so we should be patient... The only thing that's important to me is that Chris be healthy and that he have normal life with his family.... I meet him in London and we were talked for a long time and what I've noticed is - He is quiet person, responsible and valuable man.

So if we want new figures, we need to be patient....

Cheers....

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Personally I'd never buy the old woman with chickens, even if it cost less than a penny - oddest monthly suggestion ever. Even odder is the fact that it won. Still, there's no explaining the inexplicable.

Always have chicken on the menu, and it's all free range. Only problem we have is catching the little blighters since most of them are taller than Nob and a lot faster.

Hi Gildor,

As far as I am concerned, you do not have to feel bad. I bear neither a grudge or any negative sentiment towards you - really smile
My decision is based entirely on my deep disappointment (which built over the years and now I felt it was time for a decision) with a lack of progress and development in Mithril in areas which I deem crucial. The most central of these is fidelity and a close observance of the books on which the minis are supposed to be based (IMO the single raison d’être for the very existence of Mithril). Here the priority is not with the book(s) but the consistency of the artist - and thus the refusal to re-design even recognised shortcomings in future minis. I can accept that, but don't feel that I need to support it actively any longer.
In a word, I feel that in core areas that I personally deem most important Mithril (and especially Chris) are deeply stuck in the past without willingness to develop further.

Suum cuique

So again Gildor, you do not have to feel bad as far as I can see it smile

Cheers
Tolwen

Sorry, I was distracted yesterday by sundry boring domestic crises, so your breakfast is both burnt and extremely late. Blame Nob.

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Right, well I'm leaving Nob in charge for a while - I'm going up to the North to catch some haggis - our stock has run very low. I'll be back when I've caught a suitable number, which usually takes me a couple of weeks.

If the Tree gets back before I do, can you ask him to wash the high windows? They're beyond my reach, and way beyond Nob's.

Be good while I'm away, children, and if you serve yourselves (as you usually do when I'm away...), put the appropriate number of coiny things in the cash drawer. My spies will be watching...

Hi Nob,
At last you show your face!mad
I must talk with you about that breakfast, no THESE breakfast I have paid for in past month. Some were never served, I would like to understand why if not in the kitchen?
And don't tell me the food was not avalaible...You and I both know how angry can a hobbit become when someone has wasted his breakfast....yikes
