He's probably just discovered his satnav doesn't work in Middle-earth.

It's an electronic "satellite navigation" device installed in cars to help the driver get lost. I don't know what they're called in  French.

Also in Bree. But "satnav" is a colloquial term for the same thing.

Alas, I better had not asked. - - - Satnav and Suronon definitely are incorrect answers or explanations.

Suronon?????
As far as Sauron is concerned- he defenetly catchmy second Christmas figure which has benn shipped on Dec. 18 and NOT reaches me yet . . .

It is Master Halbarad II ( aka Harakd Wolf ) who still looks into Master Elronds beautiful eyes . . .

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Master Thingol mentioned Suronon, I just quoted. - So the Travelling Elrond still is with Harald. Good place to let this winter pass.

See you all tomorrow in the Pony.

Ok, let's talk about this at PP...There is a lot I can say about it, though I did not know it could be usefull on middle earth.

Thanks Master Turambar for reminding where is Elrond. Who's next?

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Where's the "Travelling Elrond" box now? - Or better to ask: what to do with it? - It certainly cannot once be send back to Wendy as nobody I know of unfortunately has any more contact to her. So has this great project has come to an end by now?
I do remember Wendy's small notebook including entries of many hosts in it, added figures and picture post cards, etc.
Is it all gone down the drain?

Re: The Travelling Elrond

As far as I am informed, Master Elrond stayed about ONE year now at Master HWolf inside "Blackforest of Germany".
He do know that I am next who will be hios host. Maybe he thinks . . . I don´t  know . . .
Not the only thing which goes down the drain . . . meseems . . .

Re: The Travelling Elrond

I would like to see it again, it has to be grown lots. Was really pleasing to read all those notes and histories. It would be an enormous pity if that "box" got lost. And I think his "guardian" should be Gildor, for he is the one who hive us the opportunity to meet and "gather".

Re: The Travelling Elrond

well you give me too much credit maenas, I did nothing concerning the Travelling Elrond. It was a project that began long before this site was born,  and the topics and his travels were recorded in Mithrandir's old MMP site now long gone.

I would be glad though to have pics of him, and be sure he is not lost (he, along with his "little friend" and logbooks and postal cards... that would be a pity to get him lost sad sad

His purpose is to travel... a lot  not stay long in one place

Well indeed you did, because I was on that web too and meet them, then he suddenly disappeared, but you kept on with the project of the community opening this site, so I think that's credit enough. wink

But yes, Travelling Elrond should continue his travel around the world, as for that he was created.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

I agree with Master Maenas.
But there will be a lot of time passing by, until the box will reach Mompellier for that reason . . .

I think it is about time for me, contacting HWolf on this facebook-thing . . .

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Better do so, Master Turambar. Maybe he just forgot about the "Travelling Elrond". It was similar with his stay before. If there's any problem concerning contacts, let me know please. I'm sure I could help a bit.

By the way there already have been "some" people who took too much time hosting "Elrond" (me being included).
