Re: THE TAPROOM 3

huoommm ... ah, that's it, Master Barliman ... hooom ... I should have known ... whenever you were absent and later talked about just having had a nap you were painting some tiny figures somewhere upstairs ... hom ... that's good, better do this than dusting the bar (or even wargskins) or polishing glasses ... huoomm ...

My (incomplete) Mithril collection remains largely unpainted. The majority of my painted figures come from about two dozen assorted companies. Right now, in fact, I'm not painting any Mithrils at all, but mostly old Mark Coplestone half-orcs, Harlequin Easterlings, Foundry Vikings (used as Woodmen) and unarmoured Late Romans by various manufactures that I'm using as Gondorian provincial troops.

seems great Master Barliman.
I also use historical armies painted/modified  to ME for my tabletop gaming.
I created moulds from Mithril shields to cast additional one in resin.

I use mainly 12-13th Norman for Arthedan and a mix of vickings for Rohan

Maybe we have to open athread to discuss further this topic?

Well, I would have no objections if you wished to start such a thread, Master Mornedhel, but I'm uncertain how our Elf leaseholder would feel. I seem to recall he has concerns about wargaming receiving too high a profile on this site (because of a certain other manufacturer...).

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Ahh- I realised that many kind fellows here had not forgotten about my birthday!
And it is Master Gavin´s too . . . ! Didn´t know that- my best wishes to him.

Yes- as you were already informed, I spent some time in this wonderful part which they call "1066 country"
and that wonderful guy- some of you call him DDaines- had visited us there!!!! Incredible, isn´t it?! That was a great day!!!
Yes, I took the pictures- more to say: "the wife" took the pictures. I have to check them still and all the other 895 pictures also
and will place them at the right place ASAP!

Still have some coins left - a late birthday round for everybody!

Hi Master Archer,

It's always good to read about friendly meetings in real life.
I thank you also for the drink offered for your birthday, even if it will be a bowl of clear water for me.
Cheers !big_smile

Did you noticed what "THE FABOLOUS" (this is DDaines of course) had written: "... and discovered that Master Chris is also a talent behind the stove . "

Please to remind that !!!!

(PS: my pleasure, Master Milo!)

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Ah, news of figures at last in today's message from Michael!! – MS615 Golasgil released next week, and MS612 Merien in November. Love the Goilasgil figure. Excellent news at last!

Shame I can't pre-order Golasgil today while I know I have some money available - just tried, but he has no link yet on the website.

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Hi everyone.
On my side, surgery went perfect. I slept few hours and woke up with a new belly, with 4 little rocks gone.
I still must stay very quiet and cannot sit nor stand up for a week But I am not anymore on a diet tongue
It's time for food and drinks !
Bzrliman, please ask Nob to prepare a banquet in 10 days.
I will pay, and may even bring more friends there to fill your purse.
Cheers!big_smile
