Yes, I was thinking the same thing. I'm unsure why he's given Eomund an axe. It's a nice figure artistically, but I won't be able to think of him as Eomund!

I would not allow to pay for that ale just after a surgery... I will pay for it instead, Barli, could you serve another one for me? and for yourself too, that way maybe you join us at the painting league and cast a vote there wink

grrrruômm ... gentlemen, whatever you might imagine in your wildest dreams, let me tell you that there definitely is no what you call a "sofa" in any room in the Prancing Pony ... huoomm ... anyway, Master Milo I really do hope that you'll recover sooner than you have thought of from your latest pains ... rhuoôm ... just take some rest ... please ... hoummhuom

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Never fear, Master Tree - Master Milo is just feverish from his surgery. What he thinks is a sofa is really just a Man-size, high-backed fireside chair. I think he's slept there all night without me noticing, so I may as well get him his first breakfast now, before the morning rush. He probably needs it to aid his recuperation.

Damnit, I felt this sofa was a bit rough, I understand why now lol
Thanks for the breafast Barliman.

Master Thingol, I need to be very patient:
40 days before walking
3 monthes before cycling
4 monthes before swimming
6 monthes before running

I am lucky enough I can eat !

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Huooommm ... see, there is proof that Hobbits are a bit strange ... rhûom ... not being able to walk for a few days might be very much annoying, I do agree ... groohuom ... cycling, errr, is dangerous, as far as I know, so you better avoid it in general ... rhuoôomm ... swimming, you mentioned, Master Milo, but that can be done easily without moving your feet ... huom ... just lay down in the water of a river and let it carry you along .... huoomm ... "running"? what's that? and what is it good for? ... hom ... I think "running" can't be as essential as breathing or eating and drinking, for example ... hmm ... if it was I would know about it, I'm sure ... huoommm ... Master Milo, just have some patience and don't try to haste .... huoomtidommm

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Nice to see that we have another 50% discount Mithril sale on Monday. This will enable me to afford a few more Fellowship figures that I haven't been able to afford so far.

I admit that there are some releases that I buy as soon as they're released, but on the whole it's getting to the point that it just isn't worth paying full price when the same figures are likely to be available at considerably reduced prices before a few montha have passed.

I imagine that those of you who have standing orders with Mithril for the Fellowship range are less than happy about this...

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

To me, it is good news for collectors who do not have enough coins for buying in a hasty way like I do. After all, buying soon also helps to have every minis (remind MS532...).

The more happy collectors we are, the longer mithril shall last.
Master Barliman, please bring me a good ale for today. a pale one.

That's a very sensible way to view things, Master Milo. That philanthropy deserves a free drink on the house!

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

huoomm ... I have to agree to what Master Milo said ... huom ... in the past I have often thought about cancelling my "autoshipment" with Mithril ... rhuôm ... but keeping it that gives me certainty not to miss a figure if anything goes wrong ... huom ... yes, that Dwarf MS532 for example, but don't forget the excellent MS437 with the unfurled banner ... homtidomm ...
so it's alright for someone who is a bit lazy ... hm, yes

I'm one of those collectors Master hobbit... unfortunately with my salary this 50 % discount is more than welcome.... I didn't buy yet last issued five figures. Last few years I bought figures two times at year. because of postage... etc... so this sales is more like unexpected positive.... surprise smile
