Ah, Master Archer, you're clearly in a part of our little world that 's inhabited by people with excellent taste. That's the very scrumpy that we bottle here, though I normally just sell it draught. You'll have to send me a bottle so that I can confirm its authenticity!
Meanwhile, can you tell Master Caster that a whole shedload of half-orcs tramped through the bar yesterday without wiping their feet on the wargskin mats? They all had ladders and claimed they'd come to wash the windows. But they left again through the back door with a case or two of my strongest "strong stuff" without wiping more than the pantry windows.
Outrageous.

huuooommm ... I'm glad to hear that the wargskins are not covered with mud ... huom ... well, Master Archer, I know those large bottles and their content ... huom ... very nice stuff that is ... rhûoooom

Well well, Master Barliman I've warned you not to trust those guys!

I know. I just don't listen.

Well, first thank you for the compliment, Master Barliman.
I hadn´t the opportunity to carry bottles with me, because of that flying-thingy . . .
BUT: I can confirm the quality!!!!!!!! Very surely!

Just stopping by for a quick drink and to compliment Master Caster on the excellent work he sent me. He is truly a gifted artisan. Many thanks my friend.

Indeed, Master caster is a gifted artisan, full of surprises, even when he rolls under the table.
Master Holger, my turn to offer you a gallion of scrumpy !

That sounds great! Lets get back under the table! Master Barliman would you like to join in?

Er, I'm still here under the same table. There didn't seem to be a lot of point in moving - it's actually quite comfiortable under here once you've drunk enough not to notice the splinters. And it saves me from having to argue with customers.

Ah there you are! Can hear your voice, but can't see you!

I did not been here for a while so it seem we have new meeting point on the tavern.... under the table... It seems that under your table is really interesting master innkeeper. Can I see what's underneath.... cheers !

This is apparently magical table.... all we have to reduce us to the size of the hobbit to come under ...

Thankfully I'm just the right size!

huoommm ... methinks the new place is just to keep us trees out ... rhûom ... but it doesn't matter as long as it doesn't cut off communication in the Pony ... huoom ... maybe I should try to use that table as a seat, what do you think? ... huom

Everyone knows trees can't sit! But there's certainly room for you under here if you want to lie down. And it's quite interesting reading all the graffiti scrawled on the underside of the table by intoxicated miscreants who can't spell (indeed, from that standpoint the underside of a table is akin to most of today's Internet blog sites.)

Hmm not much happening here.... all piled up and stuck under the table

"Stuck"? Not at all. It's a voluntary choice. From under here I can pretend that a certain "Mr. T–––p" doesn't exist.

pretending doesn't make things happen nor go away!

Huoommm ... about one more month to go until yuletide ... rhûom ... I bet once again we won't see a new Christmas figure ... alas ... it's the second year now if you don't count 2005 in .... huoooOm .... this time I think it definitely indicates the end of that wonderful and oldest Mithril tradition ... rhuom ... a shame that is ...

I agree Master Tree--very sad if we no longer have Christmas figures. And I know Chris liked to choose something special himself to add to the range.
Well, I have been gone for a while. But I also have spent some time under my own table--you know, the one in the dark corner of the Pony. I am glad to see so much activity around her lately.
Barli, a round of drinks on me for any who pop into the Pony over the next few days!

You'll have to get the drinks yourselves - I'm not coming out from under this table until Mr T----p has gone. Did you hear he wants to build a wall round Bree to shut us all in?
