Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Happy Birthday Master Elf! I raise my glass to you and say a small thank you to Elbereth for all your efforts to help me in my journey through this wonderful hobby we all share. I am very thankful to have found this gathering site and the information and friendly denizens I have discovered here.

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Hmmm. Just noticed my computer "can't find the server www.mithril.ie" this morning. Do you think Sauron has found Michael at last?

well great party... with many "small hobbits"... more like little snagas roaming around .... Rivendell is slowly becoming gorgoroth over here..

All the best Master Gildor... happy birthday... party with many little hobbits should be very nice.... cheerful and playful... but you should keep the figures safe that the small (snaga's) hobbies do not replace them with lego dices.... tt the "peak" of the celebration... cheers !

Curious. Just tried again - still not there. Since only Master Dave and I can't find the server I suspect it must be a Bree-only problem. Wonder why?

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Same here.

Tomorrow, can someone living in the larger world beyond Bree check with Michael and ask if Mithril is having some sort of computer problem? Thanks!

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Happy belated Birthday, Master Gildor! Actually, mine was just yesterday, so we have much in common this past weekend with little Snaga's running around--only mine are grandchildren, and can be sent home with their parents at the end of the day!! lollollol

Thanks, Master Dave. Yes, I can access the voting forum that way too. But if I try to gain access to the rest of the Mithril site by that route I go back to the "server can't find www.mithril.ie" page, so I still can't get into the main site. Can you?

... yes, indeed, I think Master Hsf62 must be right concerning the lack of access to a certain Irish website, as it just seems to be a Bree-ish problem .... meseems ... once the city gates are closed at night nothing can get in or out ... rhuôm ... except some Nazgûls, of course ... hooom

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Happy birthday master twrich !  I did not remember we shared same period of birthday smile

as for mithril.ie matter that is odd the only thing i can guess is a problem with british DNS OR maybe a certificate issue. I just noticed that mithril.ie certificate seems to have passed out. (no more valid)  I'm sure Michael will check about it

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

My dear UK friends, my daughter being 15 years old, I am (again) deeply hurted by what happened to teenagers in Manchester yesterday evening.

I hope noone in your family & friends is concerned.

I wholeheartedly agree Master Milo. The tragedies that you all have faced, and are facing, in Europe is heartbreaking. My prays to you all and my hope that no one here was directly affected.

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

This sort of tragedy is always inexplicable to me. What the psychopathic monsters responsible expect to achieve is never clear. Such people would always find some way and some excuse to inflict misery on harmless innocents, simply because it's in their nature.

I'm not a believer in any sort of god or religion, but at times like this I always pray fervently to whoever or whatever will listen that there is indeed such a thing as hell, and that the mindless bastards responsible end up there for eternity, suffering all the torments they deserve. Forgiveness is not in my nature for such a crime.

My family and friends are all in the east of the country and nowhere near any sort of city, so we're all OK, thankfully.
