This sort of tragedy is always inexplicable to me. What the psychopathic monsters responsible expect to achieve is never clear. Such people would always find some way and some excuse to inflict misery on harmless innocents, simply because it's in their nature.
I'm not a believer in any sort of god or religion, but at times like this I always pray fervently to whoever or whatever will listen that there is indeed such a thing as hell, and that the mindless bastards responsible end up there for eternity, suffering all the torments they deserve. Forgiveness is not in my nature for such a crime.
My family and friends are all in the east of the country and nowhere near any sort of city, so we're all OK, thankfully.
Hear, Hear Master Inn-keep, well said. No forgiveness, and no hiding place for these people, it can be done, but you need a politician with the balls to give the word!
How can you believe in a religion when this is done in the name of a religion. Human only by DNA!
RIP to all innocent victims of these and other terrorists, whatever their beliefs.

Thank you all for the Birthday wishes.
Terrible news from Manchester! The Master Gardener is correct--there have always been evil people and always will be, unfortunately. My wife and I are coming to Europe in 12 days, we will not let these terrorists stop us from enjoying our vacations or living our lives normally.
Nino, we are very excited to see you and your family, and beautiful Istria, Croatia!

Hope you both enjoy your holiday Tom, not sure if they sell Guinness in Croatia, but I'm sure that Nino will come up with something

Black beers? Yuck. Give me scrumpy any day (well, ideally every day).

Master Barliman, these greedy auctions deserve greedy drinks for a hobbit. A dozen of pint will do the job as a start, until master Elf starts to feel something.
Kschink!

I don't think we'd see you come out from under the table for weeks if you drank a dozen pints!

Never underestimate a hobbit. Being under the table is standard posture for me.

I believe you. You're my only customer who I have to ask raise his head when I want to sweep the floor.

Except when I am lost under the dusty wargskin....

You should avoid dusty wargskin during those summer months dear friend... It could be a lots of fleas in it...

I gladly accept that drink. It is beginning to change the time here in the Barrow-Downs. The Summer is coming ..... as my friends the White Walkers say..........

No rush, Master Tree. Any vermin invariably die from sucking my scrumpy off the floorboards.

Not only the vermin...

Could I have a scrumpy please Master Barliman?
