I would like to share a drink with you all gentlemen, and ladies if some of them are still around.
As if life had a vendetta against me, well, it happens I lost my father this saturday... the cancer won once again, he left at 73... at last it did not last too long and he apparently died in peace, though I missed him by an hour, I was coming to Marseille to see him as the doctors told me his status was deteriorating, I arrived just a bit too late I still have to warn my children, they don't know about it yet, they stay with their mother...
I am now trying to take care of his legacy.... collections of stamps, collections of phonecards... so many things..
See you around gentlemen...
So sorry to hear your news Gildor, on top of everything else that has been going on in your life, this is awful news indeed. I hope that you can take some comfort that your father passed away in peace, such a pity you could not be with him at the end.
Take care friend, and condolences to yourself and your wider family.
RIP
David

I join the others for the condolences Master Gildor, I know how it's difficult to loose his father cause of this awful disease...
(sorry for the other members but I need to use french a little ... easier for me in that case )

i'm going to manage the funerals (all by myself, as my mother cannot do it and won't attend)... will play "into the west" by A. Lennox ... will be fitting...
Wish my passion for mithril was still at its best but I went away earlier with what happened during the ME2 affair, don't want to remember that part...

huuu°ooooOOHmmmgruhòm ... when will you ever learn? ... hrrrhu´mmmhom ... of course I did not go for a walk, Master Milo, as I do not have the time for such holiday-things or whatever it is called ... huoom .... alas, I was just contemplating a little bit and for only a short time about the way how to dis-dust and do some cleaning in The Pony .... rhûoom ... this isn't something that needs, or even can afford, any haste being done in case you want it to be done properly ... huuuuHOm! ... ah; good evening Master Mornedhel, you shouldn't worry about me, as I'm an Ent, but thank you so very much for asking ... huomm ... see, for deep contemplating 2 months are not more than the blink of an eye in a Luxembourg province ... hom? ... rhûommm? ... ah, yes, the Man in the Dark is in need of a beer and with that some hobbitish weed for his pipe ... huom ... alright, no problem at all ... er, yes, Master Hsf62, I know a beer will do ... alas ... Master Thingol, wait a moment, please ... scrumpy is coming soon ... ghruhOom ... sorry, Master Milo, breakfast's out tonight, so what about rat-tail in the red wine? ... hmmmmmm ... alas.
Er, gentlemen, I'm afraid at the moment I cannot cope with all this, especially as I cannot find Nob anywhere ... grûom ... that extra-special here goes for Master Gildor ...
There's a saying in Bree that reads; Never ask an Ent to help out ... huoomm ... Though once in the old days, as I do remember still, that Saruman made different experiences with refurbishing his tower ... hoomm ...
anyway, cheers to all around here ... HOM !

er... Maybe I've forgotten to leave money for some drinks .... I've used a lot the Prancing Pony for celebrating all sorts of events... a Hobbit always find ideas to celebrate something special even if there is nothing special ...
I will let on the table some coins hidden in my waistcoat for sure.

huuooommm .... that's fine, Master Sam- the -adventurer- who- sometimes- forgot- to -pass-over-some -of-them-coiny-things ... huoommm ... but don't worry ... I collect and keep them things in the old box behind the bar here, as all that's for our dear Master Butterbur, you know ... hooummm ... anything else, gentlemen ?
