"Look behind you!......."
I finally finished a small project based around the recent MZ665 Lossoth hunter with elk drawn sled release. I have been planning this one since the Lossoth with sled won the vote as I thought it would be a good excuse to use the Lossoth characters previously released by Mithril Miniatures AND, an ideal excuse to give the snow troll a home.
The story is a simple one, the group of Lossoth travelling between villages have stumbled across tracks crossing their path and when they stop to investigate, Mr Troll has doubled around behind them with the intent of grabbing his dinner maybe? I should have 'pulled my finger out' and purchased the Lossoth Shaman Christmas figure as it would have made a nice addition, but 'snooze and you lose'

Very nice David. I love the atmosphere in it.
About the Troll , I feel grey color seems too close to "rock" color. A bit of dark, cold & strong fleshy living colors might improve the "alive and dangerous" threat upcoming.
Maybe 1 or 2 dark birds in the trees would be nice add-on ?

These figures really are made to be put in a diorama like this. Well done!

Thank you All Master Milo, I know what you mean about the colour of the troll - I had painted 'it' before the rock, and sometimes as the painter you can't see the 'troll for the rock' (to borrow a well-known phrase and re-word it).
My main aim was to have the troll as a native inhabitant of the area and therefore likely to blend in to his habitat so that snaring the unwary traveller would be easier for him. Sometimes in miniature it is difficult to scale this down. I guess he could do this by using a white fur, but I didn't think of that

You could have painted the troll with white patches or stripes.
