Many Mithril Pages @ Faerylands

Huoommm ... Master Gavin, I just had a look at the King of the Arnorian-vignette .... rhuoommm ... this one is absolutely different ... rhuomm ... age, garment, hairs, insignia, etc ...
before I was just referring to that Bralg holding up a head in front of his eyes ... rhuoommm ... strange customs they had some years ago ... rhuoommm ... in fact the hexagonal base will mark him again as a Christmas figure as this will be the third one in that tiny size ... rhuoommm ...
I'm really looking forward to that king ... ahem ... well, how to say? ... rhuoomm ... alas ... huomm ... again ... rhuoomm ... ahem ... well, you see ... me? tree? ... no ... rhuoomm ... again ...  hmmm ... "Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears; ..." ... wrong text that is, isn't it? ... the one from Marc ... alas .. well ... rhuoommm ... I might just leave it up to that and be silent .... rhuoommm ... just a try, you know ... just a try ... but didn't Brutus place the words the other way round .... I dunno ... long time ago ... some hassle there was before ... rhuoomm

You know what's strange?  I think one of Mr. Tubbs' least satisfying sculpts are of Strider/Aragorn.  I haven't really seen any that I'm a big fan of.  His hair seems too short, his face too clean shaven, and his limbs too thick.  For a wild ranger, I'd expect long hair, a beard, and a lanky, sinewy build.

Of course, I am not qualified to give this opinion.  It's just my thoughts.

And I love most of the Mithril figures, so please don't think I'm being critical of his overall body of work -which is wonderful.

Hmm... I'm not curious at all, but I would love to hear about some of these "more thoughts in an Entish brain" .....

Hmmm, I can't decide on my next Mithril purchase!  I'm thinking about either the Lossarnach figures, the Dol Amroth range, or the Corsairs.  They're all nice figures.

I actually think the Corsairs look splendid!  Dol Amroth is very cool too.  But the Lossarnach province is very affordable.  Hmm..

Tough decision..

Man I need all of those series, but can't afford any of them!

Yeah, I guess. It will just take a long time to do this.

HUoommrhuoommm ... as for what you said about time, well ... you might be wrong, Master Barliman ... it all depends on the way you accept it ... hom ... you always haste, then it's short ... rhuoommmm ... try to enjoy time, then it might be longer ... because then you're not aware how time flies ... rhuoommmhom

Same problem here Master Barliman, but not with unpainted, more like unfinished minis....

Huoommmm ... having painted three figures within two days ... gruomm ... hasty that is ... huommm ... I started painting the M10 two years ago and it's not finished yet ... hoommm ... it's because of other matters that might also seem to be important ... rhuoommm ... such as a blank base for 15 fellows ... alas ... why haste? ... by now it has become rather more annoying to get rid of all them leaves ... huooommm ... outside the Pony premises, of course .... hommm
