Great as usual! I specially like the first one, it looks like the Ranger is running in fear from the Trolls big_smile

Re: My work / Thingol

wonderful pictures again, Master Thingol, excellent ...
but what about the colours you used for Master Bombadil?
Master Rita.de, I was glad to read that good old Frumgar is a figure you seem to like ... though Master Thingol sent me a pic of him in which he could be better recognized without having to use a magnifying glass in front of the screen ... lol

Re: My work / Thingol

Question for master Tree...

....but what about the colours you used for Master Bombadil !?!?!?!? smile

you mean this smile

He appeared as an old man, at least in Hobbit eyes, with a wrinkled and ruddy face, bright blue eyes, and a bristling brown beard. He was said to be taller than a typical Hobbit, but too short to be a Man, so he seems to have been about five feet in height. His costume consisted of a blue jacket and yellow boots, and he wore an old and battered hat, surmounted by a feather. He seems to have preferred to wear a swan-feather in his hat, but before he met Frodo and company on the banks of the Withywindle, he had acquired the feather of a Kingfisher instead. In his own house, rather than a hat, he wore a crown of autumn leaves, perhaps revealing something of the elemental powers he possessed....

I have some plans to repaint all of my Tom's figures soon big_smile

and yes many thanks like always for all of those kind words... !

Nino - Wonderful..

All of your work is very inspirational in the Garden.

I think my favorites this time are Galadriel and Tom Bombadil.  Great!

Re: My work / Thingol

Nino - I have been very busy lately!  smile

My wife is about 5 months pregnant with a boy!  smile

And I've been collecting OD&D and AD&D 1st edition rulebooks and modules.  Another side hobby which I enjoy.  And I've just started emailing with Gavin with MERP questions - because I may have to start looking into some MERP products!

But recently I've been getting "the itch" to paint again or do a diorama..

My wallet will thank me since painting will be zero cost!  I already have the minis and the paint!

Re: My work / Thingol

Thingol, though you said that it's for George, let me please comment ...
this assembly and painting of elves in such a brilliant surrounding simply is ...
... I cannot find a word for that .... but it is ... let me try to use the word breathtaking ...
I will try to think of another adjective that might fit better ...

Nino - I'm honored and humbled!  Thank you.

Theobald is correct.  These are among your very best work.  The elves, in the garden surrounding, are PERFECT.
