Perhaps they got lost in the woods. You should organise your Huorns more tidily to avoid it happening again.

Hi Everyone,

I just received a mail from Helen . My Mb535 figures is leaving Macroom today ! Hopefully, I 'll get my birthday present in time.
Of course, if the postman gets lost in any forest, I will request Theobald to find the fellow and show him the way to Toulouse...tongue
This makes me thirsty.
Barliman, please provide me Two pint of good fresh ale.

Re: The Taproom

Huuoooommmm ... first of all I have to state that Huorns have got nothing to do with misleading or hampering postmen ... huoommm ... but what I forgot to say about the new releases is, that the primer-problem now at last seems to be solved ... rhuoommm ... good old non-shining-greyish undercoating which is sprayed well and regularly on all parts of the figures ... huoomm ... The Man was absolutely right in convincing Master Edman to use this stuff ... hooom

Re: The Taproom

That must make it a helluva long walk to the Pony! Still, my beer's worth it, especially since Gandalf gave it his blessing.

Re: The Taproom

Gruooohuommm ... Master Barliman, what do you mean with "Gandalf's blessing" of that liquid you still dare to serve? .... huoommm ... as far as I know Master Gandalf still avoids to set a foot beyond Bree's walls for ... huoomm ... decades? centuries? ... and that's why he was absent when the Hobbits arrived at your premises a long time ago ... huomm... that's what I know of ... huommm ... anyway ... it's ok ... rhuoommm

Re: The Taproom

I have Gandalf's blessing in my hands even now, Master Tree, just as Nob gave it to me. I admit, the script is a bit spidery for Gandalf, and not very tidy, but.....hmmmm. In fact, now I come to look at it again it may not be his writing at all. In fact, it has a sort of Hobbity look about it. Where's that scalliwag Nob?

Re: The Taproom

Meanwhile, in entirely different news, Tolkien Enterprises has changed its name to Middle Earth Enterprises.

Should avoid some minor confusion. No more bitching about TE. Now people can complain about MEE

Re: The Taproom

I would never complain about you, Master Gavin - unless you decline to pay your bar tab, of course.

It's presumably an unintentional irony on ex-TE's part that 'MEE' is the name of an - how shall I put it? - intellectually challenged character in one of JRRT's poems who doesn't have the faintest idea which way is up.

Re: The Taproom

In case that I agree with Master Estel´s disappointment, I have to notice, that the last King of Arnor looks amazing!
Time to have a look at this secret money purse.

Yes, master rita.de, the last King of Arnor brings hope again and shows, that C.T. can do it!! Maybe the Man does not like my suggestions?

Re: The Taproom

well I wrote to CT several times about Arvedui about how I wanted him to look, battered, kingly but despaired, AND with the Elendilmir on his forehead.

I am very saitisfied with the result... it perfectly shows the feeling I wanted him to have. Besides, with his cape all around himself, this can be placed either in the Arnor realm, or in the Forochel... for cold weathers wink

Re: The Taproom

I like the final result of Arvedui. Perhaps I miss the "hint" of a Palantir hidden under the cape ....wink
On the other hand, have you noticed the numbering of Haldir? MS551. Mithril has become ´to save`10 references to other possible regular serie-M. The third serie of Helm's Deep? Another different? roll

Re: The Taproom

Well observated, Master Erchamion! That makes hope for the long awaited M-sequel tongue
If I remember well, the last release is about ONE year ago. ONE official M-release per annum- a bit less, isn´ it . . .

Re: The Taproom

there are now two holes in the range ... m520-529 and now m541-550 .... two ranges of 10 figurines, surely these are already done and waiting for approval or mass production...

in addition, I rebuilt the GF chronology entirely to reflect suggesion chronology vs release chronology and considering civil years rather than "birthday years" when it comes to Bonus figures it seems mithril is now set upon civil years .... still, there is no "bonus figurine" for year "2008" (and soon 2009!) .... all in all, there is a need to be a third bonus figurine (and soon a fourth).. but they have time...

Re: The Taproom

my dear fellows,

I am writing here just to remind those among us who are gold fellowship members that the Gold Fellowship will celebrate its 5th birthday ... next month. Well, if you look closely at the chronology, though the first suggestion was for the month of july 2005, the GF was born on May 2005 with the release of MS423 "Aragorn with the Palantir" as introduction figurine...

I have no intention to ask mithril, C.Tubb or anybody to offer us special "anniversary" figurines, they already offer bonus figurines but well I thought we could organize some kind of event (virtual one) to celebrate this anniversary somehow smile

some kind of poll for special upcoming release, special displays of galleries, an article at Mithril or maybe a promotional/advertising campain for all non GF members, and communicate outside of the community about Mithril...

Well, if you have any ideas on how to celebrate this anniversary, feel free to post on either boards smile (mithril or mmp)

(I'll make a twin copy of this post on the official Mithril board)

Although I have no certain idea, I can support your suggestion very much. And I think it is a great idea. Need some time to think about it . . .
