Re: works

Das kann ich Dir genau sagen, Holger:
at this time there will be 21 Orcs and one Troll. Everything is painted actually!
I am currently working on the bases.

Re: works

first of all I would like to tell you, Master Rita.de, that I like your painting-skills very much ... smile
and I'm really looking forward to your Moria-diorama ... yes, time it takes ... but be assured that the time you took for realising that 'dream' of your 'Moria' could clearly be witnessed in the way you paint and create a special atmosphere in the pictures you take ... just keep on, please wink
thank you for providing ...

Re: works

Gentlemen, thank you for your support. In this case, Master Theobald, I was that Ent-like as it was possible for non-Ents.
You would have liked all this patience, insistence and persistence. And it is still going on, because it is not finished yet.
Still arranging and arranging . . .

Re: works

Taking pics and pics and pics . . . I am a bit proud of the result, also these both are having an important place inside the Moria dio . . .
The "basese-problem" is solved that way, that I cut thin slate-plates where I put the miniatures on using super-xxx-glue. So they can be taken out to have a look
on every side . . . or to take better pics . . .

Re: works

You shouldn't only be "a bit proud", Master Rita.de ... this is fantastic ...
I always wondered why you cut off the bases of the figures ... but that's a very good idea ... thin slate matches best to your wonderful scheme of colours ... keep on, let me see the bridge at Khazad Dhûm ... wink

Re: works

Thank you  friends, and thank you Master Erchamion for your sympathy.
I am afraid the scene won´t be that spectacular. I try give my dioramas a more temperate, a more moderate look, due to the art of sculpting of The Man.
Well, I try, anyway this is my "philosophy".
Oh, you there will be the bridge, of course, but in a different way . . .

That is wonderful ... the choice of the material used ... the shield-design ... the painting skill ... thank you for providing this Master Rita.de.
As for columns I found out a very simple and cheap way to produce them wink

Re: works

Your work is amazing. Three fantastics trolls especially.

I see we share the same vision regarding Orcs (leather, skin color, even minatures choices)
We shall meet all these Evil miniatures once to make Moria biggest army !

Re: works

Christoph - what wonderful work!!! big_smile  The orc and the troll with the chain are really great.  All your orc coloring is great.

I think my favorite is the pillar with the dwarfs!  It's very life-like.

Well done!

George

Re: works

Christoph - you will find that my biggest weakness is that I'm very "flighty."

I usually have about 2-3 hobbies circulating - along with my work and family.  So I get very crazed about a certain hobby, then drop it like a stone for a few months.

(But I always come back!)  wink

Re: works

Christoph, your Cave Troll is PERFECT!  Excellent choice of cool colors.  And the chain is a fine touch!  It adds another dimension of realism to the piece.  I've been pondering what colors to use for these monsters.  I have found them.
