and I'm really looking forward to your Moria-diorama ... yes, time it takes ... but be assured that the time you took for realising that 'dream' of your 'Moria' could clearly be witnessed in the way you paint and create a special atmosphere in the pictures you take ... just keep on, please

Gentlemen, thank you for your support. In this case, Master Theobald, I was that Ent-like as it was possible for non-Ents.

Taking pics and pics and pics . . . I am a bit proud of the result, also these both are having an important place inside the Moria dio . . .
The "basese-problem" is solved that way, that I cut thin slate-plates where I put the miniatures on using super-xxx-glue. So they can be taken out to have a look
on every side . . . or to take better pics . . .

You shouldn't only be "a bit proud", Master Rita.de ... this is fantastic ...
I always wondered why you cut off the bases of the figures ... but that's a very good idea ... thin slate matches best to your wonderful scheme of colours ... keep on, let me see the bridge at Khazad Dhûm ...

I am afraid the scene won´t be that spectacular. I try give my dioramas a more temperate, a more moderate look, due to the art of sculpting of The Man.

I was very lucky about the axemen being offered to me.
And very lucky indeed about this coloumn I have found really by chance. There was a certain idea immedeately.

Christoph - what wonderful work!!! The orc and the troll with the chain are really great. All your orc coloring is great.
I think my favorite is the pillar with the dwarfs! It's very life-like.

Christoph - you will find that my biggest weakness is that I'm very "flighty."
I usually have about 2-3 hobbies circulating - along with my work and family. So I get very crazed about a certain hobby, then drop it like a stone for a few months.

Christoph, your Cave Troll is PERFECT! Excellent choice of cool colors. And the chain is a fine touch! It adds another dimension of realism to the piece. I've been pondering what colors to use for these monsters. I have found them.
