No, it was Master Thingol, so he gets the free drinks - the rest of you have to pay (as if you ever will...).

Re: The Taproom

Huoommm ... just as I said ... huom ... "free drinks" for Master Thingol? ... rhuomm ... that's plural, isn't it? ... huoommm ... anyway, I'll have to pay for a nice bowl of ... errr ... hoommm ... you know what, Master Barliman .... huom ...
[[grumbles] ... so he 's still keen on heaping up them coiny things, meseems ... huom ... d****d, I wish I had any of those funny things left somewhere ... hooommm ... ]

Huoommm .... ahem, Master Barliman, as for them flat-and-round-metal-coiny-things you seem to collect ... huommm ... errr, fact is, so to say ... huommm ... you see, trees don't wear breeches, you know ... huommm ... nor boots, right? ... hom ... yes, you're guessing right, Master Barliman, very well ... huommm ... so where to carry those things? ... huomm ... I just had a look ... well, what can I say? ... there's no hack-silver in me twigs and branches ... huoom
.......................... alright, let me be honest with you .... huoommm ... what about doing some gardening for you which might also pay well for that liquid-thing ... huoommm ... with that I'm an expert, so to say .... hom .... hom!!!
or would you rather have me cleaning them trodden-furry-biting-greyish-snarling-smelly-rugs again? ... huooommmm ... what else can an Ent do? .... huooooooommm ... No, Master Barliman, no! .... rhuoommm ... though, the more I consider .... rhhrrrr...huom ... alright, the Christmas tree .... huoommm ... I know ....  no word, no movement, just standing around silently for about a week in the Pony .... huoommm ... I do remember well ... rhuom ... one of the hardest jobs I ever had .... huooommmrhuom ... so what, Master Barliman?

Well standing round in the Pony is what you're good at, Master Tree. Nob will be getting the lights and baubles out any day now.

Re: The Taproom

Sorry, I haven't, so you can't. I've got a bottle of green gunk here, called absinth I think it is, or you can have one of Nob's aniseed balls (not getting personal, you underrstand), but that's about as close as I can get - to Nob or this "anis" stuff you mentioned. Or you could try some of the drain cleaner - probably tastes much the same. Otherwise we only have strong, manly drinks, such as triple-X scrumpy and, er, triple-X scrumpy. Or you could try the triple-X scrumpy.

Re: The Taproom

Problems in the vote GF:

Michael----- Due to members giving passwords to non Fellowship members, resulting in 5 votes being made by NON- FELLOWSHIP members I have decided to VOID this round completely.
It saddens me.
I will run a short vote again of the top ideas. I apologise for those members who did vote fairly. The password will also be changed.
PLEASE NEVER ALLOW THE PASSWORD TO BE GIVEN TO ANYONE.
Note: I do not know who they voted for, in case you wondered, I just know they voted, where they are in the world (big brother is watching you), and that they are not Mithril customers, let alone Fellowship members.

Re: The Taproom

So basically, if you read ALL of Michael's posts, some FG member "at a party" helped five of their friends open user accounts with mithril, then gave them the password, then allowed them to vote using their computer. In other words: IT SOUNDS LIKE THE MEMBER CHEATED!!!! I have emailed Michael to tell us who that person was. I certainly would like to hear an explanation from them, wouldn't the rest of you? And I don't think any amount of scrumpy can excuse the fact that they didn't report the transgretion to Mithril, but allowed the vote to go forward until Michael discovered it. This does not sound like an "honest" mistake!

Am I the one who is mistaken? Are there facts I don't know about? Please let the FG member speak up. I am not looking for a witch hunt. But hopefully everyone here agrees that we must have figures that won the vote fairly. Otherwise why bother at all?

Re: The Taproom

.... I know that I'm not this member or few of them who cheated but I know that I have opportunity to support and promote again my suggestion Thorin III Stonehelm lol  but there are lot's of guys who love nameless things and creatures so voting will be interesting again...

Re: The Taproom

well Michael said they were 5, but could only find 2 among this "party of friends" he still does not know who are the other three ones

I don't have a damn idea about who all of these might be, but I doubt knowing the identity could change anything , I just hope it is not a member of MMP as it could be a very bad for us hmm

If they are no mithril customers, that could also mean there is a leak, and a break in the security of the official board..
