Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Invented (and awful) names, of course, and nowt to do with JRRT.

As for cats, ours has a very limited vocabulary that consists of "feed" and "me".

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Actually, I don't like the Nazgul figures - and there aren't many Mithril figures I'd say that about. I'm not an enthusiast of MERP's heavy Gothic armour fetish!

huoomm ... rightyrightyright, Master Barliman, though most of the companies providing tiny-metal-or-rather-resin-things do it worse concerning that "heavy Gothic armour fetish" you like to call it ... rhuomm ... I did not want to cause any trouble with an expert ... rhuoommm ... no harm intended .... though ... err, I do like them still .... huomm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

well strangely, the nine nazgul from LR ranges, are one of my favorites (I even bought two of each nazgul back in time) and I very carefully painted each of them... well I like dark full plate armors wink

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Artisitically they're nice figures - how could Chris' figures not be? - it's just that to my mind they're inapproptaite to JRRT's vision of Middle-earth, which is more "Dark Ages" than "High Mediaeval".

I figure the nine armoured Nazgul might make an excellent set of bad guys in a D+D campaign alongside the new PCH figures.

Happy Birthday, Nino!

I will try to go the party. Who knows? Maybe some unsuspecting little hobbit is encouraged to enter by the barrows.......east of the old forest...... not far from here..........roll

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the concept of anyone drinking "too much" scrumpy. My brain can't even begin to entartain such a notion. There's no such thing as "too much" scrumpy. Too sticky, maybe, or too strong, but never "too much".
