Sure it's greater for a prince to wear Half plate that look like a dunlending chieftain

...Huummm.... I think too much resembles the position to other figures. Without going further to the last GF figure "Eärendur" .....
But overall it's a nice figure, yes.

Odd choice of subject matter, I think, but a nice figure.

I like it. It is good timing for me since I just started painting my Southerners.

huomm ... looks better than a fed chicken or a swan-pie, meseems ... hûom ... though, yes, Master Barliman, "odd choice of subject matter" meets my thoughts about this very well ... huoommm ... but to be honest ... alas, I just had a look at them suggestions for November over there ... rhûomm ... better this one than another of them many-casted-figures in so very different poses ... huom ... you know what I mean ... such as "Bilbo sharpening his quill" or "King of Angmar, scatching his head", or even "Gandalf's thoughts about the ring" ... rhuomhuomm ... alas ...

Agree 105%, Master Tree.

Can somebody explain the "background" of this christmas figure? What is it about.
I can´t understand the "sense". A merchant means a "trader", is that correct? And what does "prince" mean in this case?
I am glad that other fellows do recognize some kind of "similaries" in poses.

.... CT has many similar figures, mainly those in military armor M272 but anyway they are great... one drink for you my friend... cheers

Thanks Thingol! I really like to have this drink with you.

huoomm ... so, see them both joining a drink ... rhûom ...once again it seems to me, Master Barliman, that the two of us are merely regarded as some kind of talking furniture within the Pony ... hooommm ...

Let's hope that you never become furniture yourself, Master Tree. As for me, I've been a piece of the furniture for my entire life.

I'm late for a beer together A shame, as I bring some interesting rumour .....

I can't see it happening without the family's blessing.

huoommm ... at least there's someone still around here who remembers the very old motto, which then was "The Prancing Pony - a place for facts and rumours" ... huoommm ... if I do remember well ... huom ... I have to think about a better rumour ... huom ... [Exit part of the talking furniture] ...

No more snow but an icy wind to freeze a Lossoth.
Another Grog Master Barliman.

No snow at all here. Just frost coming up (1st time under 0°C today).

Likewise ... our first (very light) frost of the winter this morning, and the pond outside has a very thin layer of ice. Time for a nice warming cup of hot drink before I start my chores.
Offline
... here in my place also today was the coldest day this winter.... cold and strong wind and -1 degree... One mulled wine with cloves, please Master innkeeper...

Masters erchamion, Milo, Mornedhel and Thingol, let´s share a drink together.
