Re: THE TAPROOM 2

...Huummm.... I think too much resembles the position to other figures. Without going further to the last GF figure "Eärendur" ..... roll

But overall it's a nice figure, yes. wink

Odd choice of subject matter, I think, but a nice figure.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

huomm ... looks better than a fed chicken or a swan-pie, meseems ... hûom ... though, yes, Master Barliman, "odd choice of subject matter" meets my thoughts about this very well ... huoommm ... but to be honest ... alas, I just had a look at them suggestions for November over there ... rhûomm ... better this one than another of them many-casted-figures in so very different poses ... huom ... you know what I mean ... such as "Bilbo sharpening his quill" or "King of Angmar, scatching his head", or even "Gandalf's thoughts about the ring" ... rhuomhuomm ... alas ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Can somebody explain the "background" of this christmas figure? What is it about.
I can´t understand the "sense". A merchant means a "trader", is that correct? And what does "prince" mean in this case?

I am glad that other fellows do recognize some kind of "similaries" in poses.

huoomm ... so, see them both joining a drink ... rhûom ...once again it seems to me, Master Barliman, that the two of us are merely regarded as some kind of talking furniture within the Pony ... hooommm ...

Let's hope that you never become furniture yourself, Master Tree. As for me, I've been a piece of the furniture for my entire life.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Likewise ... our first (very light) frost of the winter this morning, and the pond outside has a very thin layer of ice. Time for a nice warming cup of hot drink before I start my chores.
