¡Ohhh! Such a rumor deserves more than a bowl of his rare drinks ....
In his honor, Master Theobald, I am ready to plant a pot or a small tree at the entrance to my barrow ....

Well, Master Michael is surely NOT on vacation.
He twitters . . .
But this should´t divert from the most important thing we have heard of couple of hours ago . . .

I seem to recall that the Party has already been hinted at somewhere (or am I suffering from deja-vu?) - but a Mithril release of Bombur? When? How? That is news indeed, and worth a week's bowls of, er, water.
But I'm curious to know where this "press release" is hidden, or why it's not been sent out, or if it has been sent out, who else has seen it. It's all a bit odd.

The Party thing has been hinted at before.
But all the Dwarves?
Bloody awesome.
And how much it will cost? Aieeee. Scary
Offline
Scary indeed – I can't afford another mortgage.

15 little "men"!?
I guess this nice set will be around the € 150.00 mark.....
Don't worry Master Barliman, it's only a small mortgage.

I am speechless now, Master Theobald, maybe as a Tree can be.
That's great rumour!! Another lifetime-long drinks for the Tree!! I hope I have enough coiny things to buy the vignettes. Chris is the very best to realize that project!!!!!
Offline
Glorious endeavour, Master Tree! It seems that this MX will really embody the old Mithril spirit! When when when ... ?
Offline
Actually, who who who as well - is it one of your own MX projects, Master Tree? Or is it a cartel? Either way I can see it costing many silver pennies to finance!
Offline
Truly! More than 2000 € per MX figure (though to be smaller these emerging insurance cheaper) It's a great initial economic outlay!

Huooommmmm .... ahem ... well, you see, I really didn't want to cause that much trouble or even confusion ... huoomm ... I cannot answer all them questions at once, you know ... huom ... but to me it seems it's a good way to get some bowls of my favourite liquid for free ... rhuoomm ... so I will have one bowl now and will then wisely and thoroughly contemplate about me answers .... rhuuooooommmhuomhom ...

I think I know why you want your drinks free, Master Tree - it's to save as many coiny things as possible for other causes...

Hey, Master Barliman, don´t forget to observe your email box . . .

I'll get back to you later re your enquiry, Master Archer.

Thanks favourite barkeep.
After all these marvellous things happened, don´t forget to have a look at the official homepage.
I know, it´s boring often, but sometimes you can recognize something new . . .

Huoommmm ... as for that "party" I mentioned before ... I was a bit surprised by the reactions here ... rhuooommm ... I took my time to consider and contemplate about my answer ... huoomm ... well, there's only one answer I can give:
This has to be done ... rhuoommm ... that's all there is about it ... hooommm ... hom

I suppose there isn't much point posting the pics I have of Bard since they are quite similar to the ones Mithril posted. As regards the sculpting, Chris did say "In order to keep the delicate parts of the bird ( i.e. beak and legs) sufficiently thin I had to "push" the bird up against Bard's hair but I think it works O.K." I had been wondering how he was going to do such spindly legs on the thrush...

And the best: the time when we will see pictures of Celebrian, Durin and the Morgul captain has come closer now......(after the October and November 2008 winning suggestions are out now)....

I'd actually forgotten about some of these figures, it's been so long!

So I see - and your crystal ball was exact, right down to the very wording. Remarkable. You must anjoy the foresight of an Elf or a Numenorean.

For anyone on Facebook, I just created "Fans of Mithril Miniatures" group.
I've searched but can not find it.
Could you put the link?
It is an excellent idea, Wendy!, one grain of sand to give publicity to our beloved Mithril
