Re: My Work

Thanks all! Also, welcome Master Thingol! Yes, that is a GW elf. I told him to put the troll and the wolf rider I gave him on here, but he really wanted this on instead. Oh well, I am trying to get him some Mithril elves to paint. I will get some soon.
I may go ahead and put the mithrils that he has painted on here too.

Re: My Work

Thank you Thingol, there are many gifted painters amongst the regulars at the Pony so it is well worth a look around when you have time, even if it is for good ideas that you can use yourself. The main thing is I guess we enjoy it (when we can find the time smile)

Re: My Work

I have seen lot's of pictures form this topic, and I have found soma ideas. I will put some of my pictures soon so I will appreciate to find some constructive commentaries from your Mithril guys...

for Gildor... precious time is everything what you need when you have beautiful little baby in your hands... your most precious miniature smile I have also one almost 5 months "old" so my time now is a night time... not as for a dark lord Sauron, but maybe I'm right now some hobbit who wants to do some painting jobs deep in his hobbit hole after the smoking of pipe in his summer garden smile

Re: My Work

Well, fellow collectors, I have not painted a mini in a long while. I did today and what do you think? I think it turned out pretty well, if I say so myself.smile

Re: My Work

I thing that both miniatures are painted very well.... It would be good if you do a bit more shading. View topic in which Master Elroi's described how he painted figures, with some tricks. He has very useful tips.

Here http://mmp.faerylands.eu/viewtopic.php?pid=14531#p14531 but also you could see many other interesting informations there.... !

Re: My Work

Well, I would like o agree to what Master Nino said, Jason . . .
If you try to do a bit of shading the figures look even more better.

Re: My Work

Thanks for the tip. Shading is really not my specialty. I have tried before, but no success.

I need to paint more minis and then maybe I will try shading again. I need more practice first.smile
