H A R A D R I M

Gildor is busy at the main board. So let´s help him not to confuse the MMP .

This shouldn´t be only a "Turambar" solo- thread. I suppose this for other members to show their current " State Of Art " .
And I know- there are others than me . . . cool

Re: H A R A D R I M

So- may I start.
This is the first Haradrim of my current project I finished. Still "on the cork" !
And it isn´t a Haradrim but a Corsair.
Anyway, he is a mercenary under the flag of the BLACK SERPENT !

I too am planning on using my Corsairs as Haradrim - I have the shields and all. Who knows, maybe one day I'll get to paint the things!

Re: H A R A D R I M

At present there are to supposed three riders.

If everything will be positive and goes its way . . .  roll  . . . there will be also two flag bearers, the soldier shown on top and an archer.

Re: H A R A D R I M

Thank you Master Nikolai for your words und "juicy ebay aucttions".
The banners are not pennant. It is the empty oil-colour tube. The material is "Aluminium-Blech" !

Re: H A R A D R I M

Another Haradrim is finished. It is -like the rider- a tribute to Master Estel, who already did this conversion of the M294.   cool

My basic concept-idea is the theme of "The Black Serpent". So, the banner symbolizes the " The Black Serpent " .

Re: H A R A D R I M

So- at last- I can show some pics of WIP ( that means Work In Progress )
Sinse my visit at the DUZI-exhibition in October I sa a picture of a mounted Touareq on a Camel, from Romeo-models.
Since that time it was quiet clear for me, that the second conversion of a mounted Haradrim should look like a Touareq.

Re: H A R A D R I M

What you do not see is the view from the left. It shows the shield design.
Unfortunately I am not able to call my inspiration for this magnificent piece of art.

It was Master sukhe_bator who created that look of the Black Snake. I found some pics years ago somewhere in another forum which I can´t remember.
I hope he won´t kill me. I simply adore those snake-paintings he showed . . . Look here:

Re: H A R A D R I M

Ah, only Master Thingol seems to be interested in this project?!
That´s a pity, because it is really lovely . . .
As for the "Touareq" aspect I decided to give the already painted miniatures another colour scheme.
Sometimes it is necessary to paint minis three-times . . .

Re: H A R A D R I M

Well, you know Master Turambar, that I'm also very much interested in your new diorama and that I really like and value your excellent skills in painting and building very much. I wonder what your final decisions about this phantastic diorama will be.
