Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Thanks everyone.  I hope Barliman isn't offended if I avoid the scrumpy...  big_smile

So far, so good.  smile

And should the Man drop in, give him a drink on me for the latest Sam fellowship figure.  It's just how I was hoping it would be.  (I just hope they don't really call it "Sam with cooking apparatus".  Ugh.  Too formal and impersonal.  I prefer "Sam, camp cook" or something, anything else.)

Huoommmm ... good morning Master Barliman, huoommmm ... Would you please be so kind and offer me this
bowl-of-clear-clean-non-sparkeling water honey-coloured drinky-thing please. And remind: NOT TO HASTE !

You've caught Entitis! It's a very hard disease to shake off, but you only need to start worrying if the moss doesn't start falling off after about a month.

This "Entitis" could be serious if I detect that I am about losing my leaves . . .

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huuoommm ... rubbish ... huom ... there's nothing being called Entitis ... huom ... no serious scientist who still is a bit down to earth would ever claim that such a thing does exist ... huom
... see, our dear Master Turambar ordered a nice drink he, or anyone else here, usually does not order ... rhuoommm ... so may I please also have one of those please, Master Barliman.
... huoommm ... I'll pay for both bowls, of course ... rhuomtidommm ....

Who said anything about serious science (or, for that matter, being "down to earth")? I rely on old housewives' tales and the information found on the backs of cereal packets. Always 100% reliable.
